confused about votings

Now I thought that the audience has to vote during the dance performance that we see on Thursday...is that right?

But we actually get the information of who got out about 2 days in advance...so HOW does the voting when watching 'Nach Baliye' on Thursday make any difference at all????

I believe they are voted out on the basis of last week's performance, that is, the votes they got for their performance in the previous week. The voting ends on friday night, and they shoot the new episodes on saturday, where someone is eliminated on their previous week's performance and votes collected.

Also everyone outside India, do register at www.indya.com and vote for your fav jodi. It can seem unfair to some, as all of you may not have seen their dance by then, but its better than having bad dancers staying on the show without any improvement. The voting (for that week) on indya.com stops on Friday 1:30 pm (EST) in US.

Yeah, when the audience votes it is for the next round as the episode are shot on saturday's and a couple is eliminated based on that. And that is the reason the newspapers' know who is eliminated even before the episode airs.

Yes. You are right. They count the votes that come in until Friday midnight and decide the results based on that. So the couples are judges based on the last week's episode.

Hey that voting thing simply does not work. I tried and tried to vote whole Thursday night as well as Friday morning, but after taking all the info, nothing happens.
