What do you think of Singh is King movie?

What do you guys think of the movie Singh Is King starring Akshay Kumar. I don't feel it paints the right pictures of sardars. I mean he is wearing a pag but his beard it all cut!

What do you guys think about that?

yeah you are right... but i have seen sardars like that in UK, Kenya and some parts of Europe.... but of course you are right... we sikhs have a meaning for long hair... for beard or head.... at least akshay has some beard, but i heard om puri has some part in it too and he has pagg but no beard at all.... rumor was that he said, his face gets allergy with beard so he didnt want to grow it.... lets see.... in Yaarian movie (gurda mann's) he was wearing a good beard wig and all togehter he has to wear it for few scenes, why couldt he do it.... anyways, they have made a joke out of sikhs already in many movies and we let them do it..... so why wouldnt they do such a mockery!!!!!!

@sonu98 i agree wid u 😊 many ppl make fun out of sikhs 🤢 which annoys me 🤢 but i heard that they showed the film 2 gurdwara commitees nd they said that there r few mistakes nd they went bk 2 sydney nd egypt 2 re-shoot it 😃 nd im so glad that the film producers and directors didnt want 2 make fun of sikhs 😃
and Akshay said that he found the Sing is King title behind the truck 😆

akshay is a pakka punjabi......... he tries to s[eak in punjabi whenever he can... even in his movies u can hear that punjabi accent in his hindi..... i luv it

i am a bit iffy with this movie because i want it to show the real life of sikhs and stuff! but so far from the promos i am not happy with it 😃

Yeah, I am a bit iffy about the movie too. But I read an article stating that parts of the movie were shown to the Sikh commitee, and they didn't have any problem with it! That makes me feel better towards the movie!

I am eagerly awaiting the movie...but yes I am apprehensive about how they will portray sikhs...my bro and I get so mad whenever they show punjabi's jumping around and acting like idiots for no reason...bro is always like what the hell we are not like that, why do they have to show that punjabi's are retards one example of such a ridiculous movie is "jo bhole so nihaal" I can't believe Sunny being a sikh himself stooped to such a low level and acted in that nonsense of a movie! 🤢

Simran, I agree with 100%. Same thing here, it ticks me off! Omg...after I saw "Jo bhole so Nihaal" I was like what? What are trying to show? Me too, I can't believed it! I found the movie the be digusting, nonsense. I kind of lost respect for Sunny! Man, your Sikh youself, and thats how you protray us! Paints the wrong picture.I was like come one!!

im waiting for Singh is King i think its gona be a superduper hit movie!! Akshay is doing a great job like he is making ppl understand wat r sikhs as in hindi movies or serials they r making fun of da sardars ...like he sed in an interview!

n abt da sikh commitee they showed da movie .. da director sed tht as da movie is abt sardars he didnt wantd to hav a mistake in it which will hurt da sikhs cuz he isnt a punjabi n didnt noe much abt it so he showd them so tht they can tell dem if there was any mistake
