NEW promo (details)

hey guyz just watched a new promo :

Aneek starts singing " Pehli Nazaar main kaissa jadoo" (Atif Aslam - RACE)

and Abhijeet stops him , and said to all participants : " The mark for this song is ZERO - and all of you listen carrefully, i dont want you to sing a poor and 'besura' man's song ."

I also managed to catch the promo and all I can say is that this is very shameful behaviour on the part of Abhijeet
I've heard a lot of discussion in many places about Atif and whether he is besura or not. But at the moment this is not the issue. The bottom-line is that Abhijeet is insulting another person who (I think) has done no harm to him. I wouldn't call myself an Atif fan but I like some of his songs. I've also liked some of Abhijeet's songs such as those from Khiladi and Chalte chalte. But Abhijeet should realize that he will hurt the feelings of many Atif fans.

This is not the first time he has picked on Atif. Abhijeet has made silly statements in the past as well. Also, when Atif came on Star voice of India, Ahijeet was not present. I doubt this was a coincidence. Such behaviour from Abhijeet is very cheap. But Abhijeet fans, please don't misunderstand me. I'm not supporting Atif here, but this is a matter of principle. How can a senior singer personally attack another? If he doesn't like Atif, fair enough-that's his personal opinion and he's entitled to it. But Abhijeet can't decide who can sing and who can't. The listeners have given their verdict and many seem to like Atif.

I think Abhijeet needs to stop being so sour and really needs some people skills. Being out-spoken is one thing...but being rude is simply not on. His atttiude is very off putting! 😊

Yep i also watched it, and i was so stunned by this. I cant believe he said this. i mean who does he think he is ? he has no right to insult another artist. Besides Atif isnt a bad singer otherwise many of his songs are hit. Maybe Abhijeet is jealous of him. But a judges shouldnt have this attitude.

Ok he doesnt like Atif, but at least he could hear how Aneek would have sang it. No he cut him right away. I mean ok u dont like the singer ok but dont insult the contestant too.

He should keep his personnal judgements to himself and judge with rules. I cant believe Zee can telecast this, besides in a promo. If thsi publicity or what? Do they want their show to work like this ?

Besides on this very show, Abhijeet insulted also Pritam. We all know that most of Pritam's songs are copied. BUT has he the right to insult him publically ? I dont call him a judge, but jealous. The J must eb common but the role isnt.

Day by Day, this show is getting worse, either with wrong eliminations or with judges' tauntrums.

If Abhijeet doesn't like Atif's singing fair enough, but I don't think it is right for him to say what he did...

No one has exactly the same likes and dislikes... we all should understand that but it's not right to just disrespect someone in the manner he did... I do like Abhijeet - I think he is a gr8 singer but I do not agree with this behaviour of his...

Stopping a contestant? Okay he doesn't like Atif... but Atif was just the one who sung it and now it was a different singer... Abhijeet just has a problem with Atif not the music of the song or the lyrics so now he was getting the song from someone else, which he should have took on especially if he hated Atif's version so much he should have listened to it from a different singer and then could have even popped in the phrase a few people do say 'This was better than the original'

What he did was what he did... whether you agree with it or not... but I feel sorry for Aneek... they have been given the full right to choose whatever song they want to sing and he chose this one, which a lot of people like too but because Abhijeet didn't like it he couldn't continue with it... all respect to Abhijeet but he isn't the only judge... there is another judge as well who may have no problem with the song and he has to give marks on his behalf too...

All in all... I think Abhijeet should have just given Aneek a chance... and you never know after hearing the song from a different singer he might have even liked the song...

i totalli agree, u dont like atif but ders millions hu do. n im one of those millions, atif has a voice of one in million, so wat abhijeet did was totalli wrong, he has no right to insult atif like dat, n nw if atif want to take action am totalli wiv him coz dats wat abhijeet diserves.

If Atif's that bad, why do good producers/directors make him sing their songs and why do those songs become a hit?!

Everyone has a right to sing a song without being stopped, I think this is all preplanned or Abhijeet is veryyyy disrespectful... 🤢

Last week he told Aneek nobody should sing MAA and this week he says this?!😔 If he thinks so much of himself and stops the show becuase he doesn't like a certain SONG, why doesn't he kick out all the contestants and start singing himself?!!?!?!

Very sorry if I hurt anyone. Abhijeet is a great singer but his attitude has been bothering me a lot since the past couple of weeks!😭
