The rosy picture of Bollywood does have a flip side to it. There have been numerous stars of yesteryears, who died a penniless death in anonymity.
Our newer bunch, hence, is getting smarter where monetary matters are concerned.
The prime time of stars and super stars are short-lived in tinsel-town, so now everyone wants to make the most of it by looking for alternate career options or chunky investments.
There have been some stars who have set a precedent for the younger generation.
Mithun Chakraborty turned into full time hotelier and shifted base to south while Amitabh Bachchan floated ABCL, which unfortunately fell flat on its face, leaving Big B in the lurch.
Now we have a set of entrepreneurs in the making who are in the prime of their acting careers and also concentrating in investing their money smartly.

And if rumors are to be believed, news is that Aishwarya Rai is soon planning to resurrect pa-in-law's dying company AB Corp and is negotiating with filmmakers to restart production work.
Even Ayesha Takia is all set to launch their first boutique hotel in Goa along with her restaurateur boyfriend Farhan Azmi. Twinkle Khanna has already found a nest for herself in the form of an interior designing store, the White Window in Mumbai.
Mrs Akshay Kumar is now a successful interior designer and has also won the Elle Decor International Design Award.

All this goes on to prove that even our biggest stars of Bollywood believe that good looks and fame are not going to be on their side forever. So having an alternate career at their disposal is the smartest option.
