Euro 2008 Quarter Finals

Portugal vs Germany

Croatia vs Turkey

Italy vs Spain

Holland vs Russia

my predictions are:

Portugal will beat Germany as they are one of the form sides and it looks as if the germans will be without there midfield hardman torston frings and top scorer podloski

Croatia with there form will beat Turkey but it will be hard especially as the turks will be confident after there 3-2 win against czech repulic

Italy will lose to Spain because the spaniards are in red hot form and the italians will be without pirlo and gattuso

Holland will beat Russia easily cos they are in good form and have the better players in my opinion

I know that both Germany and Portugal will come with full fire today, it's do-or-die situation.. but I think, after much 'warm-up' and whatnot, Germany will finally have their chance to show true leadership and how well they play, considering their last two games werent the best... Portugal on the other hand won their 1st two games quite easily (compared to Germany). Plus, theyre coming in with a loss (which didnt really matter, but still), Germany is coming in with a win... neither side is going to take anything lightly, but i have a strong feeling that my German team will win 😎

Predictions for the others, will worry about those later, this 1st QF match matters to me the most out of all of them 😳 😆

I'm a die-hard Italian supporter, but the team has not been playing well at all...the absence of Pirlo & Gatusso will be a huge setback as Pirlo sets up most goals & Gatusso is a surefire defender....am hoping for the best coz Spain are in top form, but the Italians are always full of surprises & keeping my fingers crossed for them....

For the other teams, I think Germany, Croatia & Holland are through.....
