i think most people take into account these so called recent pakistani movies where in which (i mean no offence to anyone) the guy wanders around with a huge bandook in his hand handle bar mustache and beats the crap outa every guy amongst danicng woth 9if u cn call it dancing) with females who realli ought to lose alot of weight or stop wearing such tight kurti's!!!!!!

but those are not the true pakistani movies

khuda ke liye breaks form that stereotype and delivers in all honesty what people of today in some sense are like
sure we have millions of khans, ali's and ahmeds ect claiming to be muslim simply coz of their name but honestly hwo many do the simple fards of namaaz, how many actually follow the five pillars or even sunnat of the prophet (p.b.u.h)not alot.
that is precisely what the film indicated so many pope, have drawn away form islam, claiming to have modernised however underlying foundations interepratae that they actaully ahve no idea of what islam represents!

khuda ke liye explored that, with a girl whoes father is of no exmaple (having partners of another religion drinking but then at the same time holding prejudice...becasue apparently its ok for him but not his daughter??? yh wtever!)

now thw seocnd topic delat with was extremeism or more importanly the naivity of sum youngersters and the manipulation of others
i must realli credit the prducers in paticular the worters who composed such brillience of how a guy cn easily be manipulated at the end of the day most misunderstanding the is entire terrorism, extremeism, and more recently and heart breakingly islmaphobia after all is generated anf fueled through misunderstadnig...it is the incapibility either due to ignorance or simply attictuide that reults in situatiosn arising

honestly anyone out there whether ur muslim or not watch the film just to simply understand the message behind it and the principes of islam...no doubt alot of people do gt it wrong ie for example music is haraam (when of course it isnt...nevertheless the context of it needs to be understood thus nething which is outside of the basic principles hence makes it haraam)

finally a big šŸ‘ šŸ‘
to entire cast and crew of khuda ke liye for proving that pakistani filsm ahve alot more to offer than gunde and gundi's!

moving away for khuda ke liye to more typical pakistani films i wouldnt advise u to worte them off completely either
2 most fmaous exmaples i would provide whether u have seen them or not are
1. heer ranjha (absolute calssic)
2. chudiyaan (dark horse)

firstly heer ranjha of course ive heard my mother and grand mother go on and on about the film for a while without having seen it i simply presumed ok folk love story must be ok...
however having seen it i can completely agree it is an literary piece (with the added interest fi the history behind of there bwing an actaul heer's tomb!...hmmm )
neway songs are gorgus and wud beat ne of the rubbish composed today which maybe a chart topper for a week or (giving it sum creit) a month but after that its simply white noise ...songs are those which u cn listen to in 10 20 or even 50 years time that still make u emote (other than physically sick or cringed!)
there is no embarassing moments or songs that require fast fowarding due to sum inconvient poses or behaviour that will be considered a little erm lets put as uncomfortable amongst parents in paticular fathers and uncles, and to top it off theres a certain charm in form of innocense!

if any of you seriusly think pak filsm are unworthy then aside form khuda ke liye watch heer ranjha a classic!!!!!!!!!

im nt going to talk too much about chudiyaan as it isnt much dofferent form typical films (guy and girl in love ...compliciations, ...fight, ...humour...in the end we all noe wt happens)
but yes i must say certain chracterisitcs have been adpted with in this film which does set it aprt forn the rest fo saimas films!

-------

realli sorri fir such a long post but reading all the replies i just felt that pakistani film industry should be mentioned becasue there are heopfeuls and actors with great potential who either due to lack of great production or scripts are failing to deliver the crux of their acting ability!

and hehe in case anyone is introgued let me noe n il see wt other brill pakistani films i cn dig out for u to enjoy this summer

all due respect
