but you should see the logical reason, the one that even sita forgot to mention-
What was prithvi's age when he died? 24yrs.
now tell me, how many women could he have possibly married in his short lifespan of just 24 yrs. according to some of you, he had 7,8, 9 and even 16 and 26 wives!! can a king, who doesn't even have time to spare, who has so many duties to carry, marry 7 or 16 or 26 ladies in his short lifespan of 24 yrs?? this could only have happened if he only married and did nothing else, which is not true.
He was busy with his wars most of the time since his succesion of the throne at the age of 13 yrs. he could have married only once or maybe twice, not more than that.
NOW DO YOU PPL AGREE WITH ME that Sanyo was the only wife of Prithvi??

very well said man!!!!👏

i totally agree with u !!😛

Jaichand had two wives - namely nayantara and banumathi. Only nayantara had a daughter, i.e, Sanyogita and banumathi had no children. Jaichand's sister - meenalochini had two sons - harishchandra and badrinath. Since Jaichand had no male heir, he adopted his sister's elder son harishchandra. After Ghori killed Jaichand in the battle of chandwar 1194 A.D, harishchandra was converted to Islam by Ghori (Ghori circumcised him) and he accepted to be Ghori's vassal and became the king of Kannouj. But soon harishchandra abandoned Islam, married Renuka devi, princess of devgiri and became a hindu again. So Qutub-ud-din Aibak attacked him. Harishchandra was killed by Qutub-ud-din in the battle of kannouj 1198 A.D. Harishchandra's pregnant wife Renuka was dumped in Qutub-ud-din's harem. Since their was no heir, with harishchandra's death Ghahadwala dynasty came to an end.

All this kumbha mela stories are big joke and pure fake.

Reference books: jayachandra kavya & chandra vamshi sanskrit history books.

i think we all shud beleive what sagar's are showing in the show ,as no body is pointing fingers at sagar's what ever they are showing ,i mean the GREAT Historians n all the ppl of RAJASTHAN ROYAL FAMILIES ,like it happened at the release of jodha-akbar movie ,no hulla -ballo is being created at what sagar's are showing ,so it means whatever sagar's are showing is AUTHENTIC & TRUE !!! atleast we all shud beleive it !!!! when there is so much confusion abt prithvi's life history !! so we all shud beleive what saga'rs are showing !!!! to keep us happy at heart also & to put an end to all the mind boggling questions abt prithvi raj chauhans life !😛

About the absence of 'hulla-ballo': that usually happens when something critical or negative is shown about a celebrated person (regardless of whether the critical thing is true or false). Glorification is always welcomed, even if it is blatantly false (unless it is glorification of someone who is traditionally disliked). This is hypocritical but sadly true of all the subcontinental nations. Besides, not many people take the time to study history and verify the things shown on tv and film. As long as they like their favorite characters being glorified, who cares really?

I am not saying that absence of 'hulla-ballo' is a sufficient condition to prove that the depiction is wrong (or right). I am simply saying that the absence or presence of 'hulla-ballo' is not a valid criterion for judging whether or not the serial is showing historically valid things or not.

Do not , I repeat: do NOT blindly trust anything depicted on tv serials and movies. Many things happen behind the scenes that we are not aware of. Scripts are often modified due to TRPs or because of pressure from the producers or channel to avoid controversial material. Sometimes the script writers and creatives are plain incompetent. Sometimes they just want to stretch the serial for as long as possible even if that means showing historically invalid material. And so on and so forth. Do your own research via the books/historical records available and all that.

well !! agree with u to some extent tht whatever is shown on-screen is always not true !!!! 😊but i think the makers of a show who take the risk of making an historical or a mythological show do great & deep reserch so tht they can't be questioned & nobody cud point fingers at tht !!!!

even they hv a great research team with them who suggests them at every step of serial making & how the story shud b forwarded & in what ways !! becaz the makers of such historical shows & mythological shows know that they hv got a great responsibility on their shoulders .

in THE MAKING OF PRITHVI RAJ CHUHAN also sagar's took help from agreat historians ,do read the name of all those ppl when they show the names of their creative members at the starting of the show.

i know in ramayan we all hv contradictory views as we hv got two authentic sources of ramayan one is valmiki ramayan & the other is ram charit manas ,so dunno which one to beleive😕 .

yeah, i agree with u that we cannot blindly believe what is shown on tv, but we also cannot completely trust the history records either. i have myself seen half a dozen sites offering info on Prithviraj Chauhan and mark my words, each of them were completely different from each other. so perhaps we can never know the purely true history of Prithviraj Chauhan, unless we invent a time machine.😉

You dont know which history book is write and which one is wrong, so we have no proof of either of them.😊
