Yeah, I get it. Editing is definitely one of the film's big issues.Even though I do think the fast pacing was a creative choice..the fragmented, almost breathless way of telling Raya's story can work with the psychological nature of the film.

But the problem is that the execution doesn't always communicate that intention clearly....

I'd actually be happy if they trimmed some of those extended action sequences. Keep them of course, but just tighten them a little.

But if I talk about myself personally as you can see, I enjoyed it so so much and was deeply moved by it nonetheless. A movie that gave me so much food for thought, made me look at its characters from so many different perspectives, and even inspired me to write this much... what more can I really ask for? ❤️

The part in bold - this is absolutely true in my case too. One thing about this movie is - You can not get it out of your head...it's going to play inside your brain, like a haunting music that keeps repeating 'what if' 'what if'...so many 'what if's....it affected me a lot

Exactly....so so true...

What if Raya had chosen differently?

What if he had gone back to Nadia?

What if Ganga had lived?

What if Raya had saved Ticket?

What if Nadia had stayed?

What if they had just been able to talk?

So many possibilities. So many lives that could have unfolded differently.

And yeah that's what affected me the most. The film didn't simply end when the credits rolled. It keeps happening inside my head.

I am revisiting scenes. I am rethinking choices. I am imagining alternate lives.

And somewhere between all those "what ifs", the film has started becoming strangely and immensely personal.

That's when you know a movie has really gotten to you...and This movie has really gotten to me..❤️🥹

You know I was thinking about the scene where Nadia slit her wrist as she thought Raya might violate her dignity And I think this scene is far more important than it initially appeared because it dismantled both their assumptions about each other in a single moment.

Nadia entered that room already believing she knows what Raya is. She had heard the stories,the womanizer, the gangster, the man who takes what he wants. So when he arrived, she assumed the worst. Her decision to slit her wrist is not simply about fear of physical intimacy; it is about her refusal to surrender her dignity on someone else's terms.

And then Raya did something completely contrary to the image she had constructed in her head.

He didn't touch her.

He covered her with his coat. He noticed the injury. He got her treated. He let her sleep safely on his bed while he remained nearby. And eventually,once she woke up, he told her that all he wanted from her was the truth.

That changed everything.

Because the scene establishes something crucial about Raya: he may be sexually reckless, morally compromised and deeply toxic, but he is not a man who believes a woman's body is his right. His darkness has boundaries. Consent is one of them.

And interestingly, the scene also reveals Nadia to Raya.

Until then, he may have seen her as a beautiful woman who could be useful to his mission. But here he discovered something much more significant: this woman would rather hurt herself than betray her own dignity. Her fear didn't make her submissive; it made her fiercely self-respecting.

So their first real connection isn't physical attraction.

It is recognition.

Nadia realized, "He isn't the monster I was told he was."

Raya realized, "She isn't a woman I can control."

And perhaps that's the foundation of why he eventually fell so deeply for her.

Because Nadia was one of the first people in his life who didn't surrender to Raya. She stood before him with her dignity intact.

Later when they became physically intimate for the first time, it's Nadia who made the first move....

That scene doesn't merely begin their love story.It begins by destroying the illusions they had about each other...
