That impression about Sunny seems fitting to me, also in this movie... although he "doesn't mind" to use violence himself, if 'needed' .

It made it an extra pleasure to watch him in Ikka where he was put into a moral and emotional dilemma, not really the 'usual' Sunny-role.

Well, and I about the actor - don't know him personally, either... just from some movies and public appearances...

So, nothing against him playing a Muslim leaving India with his family to live in Lahore and standing up for an old Hindi woman still living in the house given to him as new home... the shouting belongs to Sunny like a kind of USP, I think... other things in the trailer bother me more.

Let me tell you asto why bollywood loves pakistan.

1.Khans do have emotional cord attached to pakistan and they rule bollywood...they are the most loved bollywood stars in pakistan...nobody comes even close or even has slightest chance because of obvious reasons.

Their janta gets really excited knowing Its KHANs who are ruling bollywood just like how indians get excited by sunita Williams or sundar pichai etc.

So the admiration is mutual there due to shared religion

2.Dawood used to fund almost all bollywood until very recently where islamists of bollywood has had full control over narratives...which was mostly pro pakistan

Pk legit had pakistani sponsors

3.And this movie is also by amir khan production
