As it is about the first competition on the cricket field between India and Pakistan (and well known among cricket fans), I really wonder why Ashutosh and Aamir team up for another cricket movie... is it just to showcase another win of India over Pakistan? What is the purpose when not meant as a biopic???

I think he was born n Punjab and played for club cricket for Lahore before partition..later he moved towards India side during partition and became the captain of India team.
