Episode 3: The Shadow of Suspicion

Note: This is an original fan-fiction and not part of the official Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi storyline. In this fan-fiction, Nandini is married to Ansh Virani.

Opening Recap

Episode 2 ended with Nandini sensing that someone was outside her room after she wrote in her secret diary.

Scene 1 – Outside Nandini's Room

Nandini quickly opens the door.

The corridor is empty.

Suddenly, she hears footsteps.

It is Ansh Virani, carrying a glass of milk.

Ansh: "Nandini... are you alright? I saw your room light on and thought you might still be awake."

Nandini immediately relaxes.

Nandini (smiling): "I couldn't sleep. I was writing about my first few days in this wonderful family."

Ansh hugs her.

Scene 2 – Morning at the Virani Mansion

Tulsi prepares breakfast with Savita, Damini, Shobha and Gayathri.

Mihir discusses a business meeting with J.D.

Karan and Gautam are still uncomfortable after their disagreement.

Tulsi notices the tension.

Tulsi: "Our family has always solved problems through trust. Never let misunderstandings grow."

Karan and Gautam nod, but the distance between them remains.

Nandini silently watches with satisfaction

Scene 3 – Damini's Doubt

Damini enters the study to return a book.

She notices a small notebook left on the table.

Before she can open it, Nandini walks in.

Nandini: "That's just my personal journal."

Damini apologizes, but she becomes even more suspicious.

Scene 4 – Ansh Defends His Wife

Later, Damini quietly tells Ansh:

"Nandini is very intelligent... but something about her doesn't feel right."

Ansh smiles.

"You're misunderstanding her. She's trying her best to become part of this family."

Damini decides not to argue, but she resolves to keep observing.

Scene 5 – Nandini's Second Move

Nandini learns that an important business file is missing from J.D.'s office.

She secretly places it in another cabinet.

When everyone starts searching, the file is eventually found.

Although nothing serious happens, Karan blames Gautam for being careless.

Another crack forms between the brothers.

Nandini quietly watches from a distance.

Scene 6 – Tulsi Notices a Pattern

Tulsi speaks privately with Mihir.

Tulsi: "Ever since Nandini entered the house, small misunderstandings have started happening. Maybe it's only a coincidence... but I can't ignore it."

Mihir replies:

"Let's not suspect anyone without proof."

Tulsi agrees, but she remains thoughtful.

Scene 7 – The Secret Phone Call

Late at night, Nandini receives another mysterious call.

Unknown Voice: "Is Ansh suspicious?"

Nandini: "No. He trusts me completely."

Unknown Voice: "Good. Keep Tulsi distracted. The real plan is about to begin."

Before Nandini can reply, she hears a sound outside the door.

She quickly disconnects the call.

Nandini opens the door.

Standing in the hallway is Damini.

Neither woman speaks.

They simply stare at each other.

Damini has not heard the full conversation—but she is certain Nandini is hiding something.

The background music rises as the screen freezes on their intense eye contact.

Very interesting FF. Nice to see all elders with Savita, Mansukh, JD, Gayatri in this FF. Also, it's surprising to see Ansh and Nandini together. I wonder who could be the unknown person talking to Nandini. Damini and Tulsi are suspicious. Hop they find out the truth soon.
