A lot of people went to watch the movie just to see Kabir's cameo. You can check out many live audience reactions video clips in social media when Kabir made his entry.

Though I admit they could've made his role more impactful and useful. They basically wasted his character.

Raha is 3 and half years old. Many working woman leave their toddlers at home to work. DP is currently pregnant with a toddler. Like... she's carrying a baby rn. Pretty sure , situation is quite different.

Alpha would've been so much better if it was DP in the lead role. She's the physical fitness, attitude, aura and authenticity to carry these kind of female super soldier roles.

Also, Urvasi Rautela ? Really ?? Have you seen her erm acting ?

Like I said in a previous post, a movie becomes a hit or flop because of many reasons. Just like we can't blame Kriti if Cocktail 2 flops, we can't blame HR alone for War 2. The script was terrible . Infact, it was a major blow for the entire franchise.

Alia has also shot for movies like Heart of stone when she was heavily pregnant..Rocky Rani when raha was some months old..jigra when she was 2 years old..she has worked during and post pregnancy..through out actually..funny how we make it seem like she now started working when raha is 3 and dp is doing something out of the box..

Could have avoided crash landing on Sunday

A big action movie that is part of a large action franchise from one of the biggest production houses in Hindi cinema opened under 10cr. Its weekend total is slightly above the franchise’s last big flop’s opening day (War2 opened at 29 cr). Unless by some miracle the movie jumps super high on Monday and continues on a high all week, it’s a disaster.

And no, the budget is not 80cr. Come on! That’s just scrambling for scraps to believe that a Spy-verse movie’s budget was only 80cr.

The question never was whether Alia was a star or not. She’s been a star for a while just as Kriti, Kiara, Shraddha etc are. The question always was is she a superstar like Katrina and Deepika were/are who happen to have numerous blockbusters in their filmographies. The answer is no, Alia is not.

“meltdown” and “over enthu PR” are the go to phrases some Alia fans use when they can’t counter argue the points. It’s kind of funny now because it’s become a major tell in the direction the debate and discussion is going.

But yes, Alia’s PR has always been too obvious. From trying to frame herself as the first ever female action star during promotions to now shifting the direction towards how these numbers are great based on how bad the reviews were or even how bad the movie is.
