A temple at least 1200 to 2500 years old and widely recognized as the richest temple and place of worship in recorded human history, also allegedly the b e s t guarded temple in India with treasures worth 22billion US$.

A fierce legal battle took place over whether the known treasure belonged to the public, the state government, or the Travancore royal family. In July 2020 (so during the current government - do tell!), the Supreme Court of India issued a landmark ruling declaring that the treasure belongs strictly to the temple's deity (Lord Padmanabhaswamy).

Well... seems that the treasures given to deities don't belong anymore to them but to highly greedy people with criminal minds...
