Wow what a match! One man less and Paraguay held on. Feel bad for Turkey though. They work so hard for 4 years and getting eliminated so early in the tournament must hurt

They forgot to add defenders and goalkeeper in their team. Attacker ko Bhi goalkeeper Bana Diya shayadsmiley39smiley36They focus too much on attack, too less focus on defense. They failed in euros cause of this same reason!

But their goal sheet tells a different story. I don't think their defense is that weak. Conceding 3 goals in 2 games is fairly okay for a team like Turkey. Their attack is the real problem... it completely let them down, failing to score a single goal in two match.

in both games they had way more shots and ball possession but still failed to make a single goal. They mostly focus a lot in attack and scoring, and barely on defense. It's like no matter what the ball must be brought nearer to their goal side.

Opponent in both matches, barely got the ball compared to them but when they did they managed to score a goal. Moreover both Australia and Paraguay are not the best in scoring usually, their defence are stronger comparatively.

I don't remember seeing Turk goalie defending the ball for once smiley36Hence in that sense I am saying their defense and goal keeping of Turkey is really poor. And on top of that time this time their attack also let them down as they can't get a single goal out of 62 freaking chances, though some were very unlucky!

I am only sad for Arda Guler. The guy does wonders with Real Madrid. Couldn't he just send one of his strong kicks and score?!

But the reason for their elimination was their attack, not their defense, so I find your criticism of the defense a bit unfair.

It was the second match of the group stage, so it was somewhat expected that Paraguay would score. However, Turkey couldn't, even though they should have.

And ball possession means nothing if you can't score a goal.
