I think Neel does regret his mistake but not in a bad guy way. He is self-aware, and also sometimes diabolical.
He likes the normalcy they share but somewhere I feel that Neel may want to be back with her. It would be interesting to see his reaction when she moves on.
Also, I kinda like the swinging of Nayan. She certainly is in a whirlwind of feelings.
As much as thami is orthodox, she's right about one thing that both Noyon and Neel were responsible for the downfall of their relationship even though Neel's part on this was beyond repair since he's already chosen to marry Angana at that time. But, the way thami makes it all about Neel being the ideal son, it just puts her in the negative limelight.
