Why do you think youth today is not interested in politics?

@RN555- why do you think students are being wasted and what can govt do?

This article I read in Indian express.... How are students in economics? Nobody is choosing political science or economic as career?

A lot of this spending is just for the gram and showing they are having a life to their peers

Students potential is wasted because... Most of the time after passing 10th or 12th students are forced to choose Science stream... Parents don't even discuss with children about their interest in the subjects... The scope of that subject... Usually parents themselves are not informed about scope, career options so they think that science is best option...that too only MBBS.. THEY don't ask the child to think of specialization in one subject Microbiology, Botany, Veterinary science, Agricultural science, Biotech, Medicines., students good in physics can go in Astrophysics and space technology. Not necessarily they should know biology..... Slowly awareness is happening but that too after so much counselling and convincing parents agree reluctantly...

CA ka beta/ beti Commerce lene ke baare mein hi sochte hain but no way they ask children would you like to opt other options in commerce like operations management, economics, Organization Behaviour, Business law, labour laws...

And sabse zyada upekshit Arts field.... in Maharashtra children don't find scope in Geology, Geospatial, law, psychology, history... Geography... Not knowing that Archaeological survey of india, stones and gems, oceanography, smart city management .

See i haven't even said a word about IAS, IPS government jobs...

Now let's talk about technology & AI... I teach it and every time tell students.... The scope of this field is so vast and it can be attached with each of the subjects above and grow...awareness

Let me clarify...

AI Will never reduce jobs... Because backbone of AI is maths and DATA..

I always say to students, " if you give garbage to Model it will give garbage if you give properly analyze the correct parameter of the problem and then feed data to AI model it will give proper result... or you can prepare a new model of your own.."

Students, are not aware and neither teachers and parents are having awareness......

I'll tell recent incident... A seminar was held for the students in 10 standard for JEE/ NEET aspirants... The speaker started with the sentence, " Each year nearly 10 lakh students appear for JEE/ JEE Advance / NEET and nearly 10000 students commit suicide not able to handle pressure.. " 😡 the purpose was that students should join their coaching classes

The moment i heard that sentence... I was boiling with anger..... that day he killed dreams.... Some students said should we Attempt JEE / NEET.... Is it so depressing... Pressurizing...

It took me nearly 3-4 counseling session to make these kids realize it's just marketing strategy.....

I should have added creative arts and languages specialization also in arts too..

Sports and physical education is compulsoryin other countries but in india ha ha ha...

Sirf cricket pe atke hain....

Compulsory social behavior training in colleges Students throw grabage here and there and rudely ask cleaners to clean... Basic manners nahi hain...ek aadhi cleaniness drive karte hain... Photo lete hain bas... Group activity ke naam par sirf group dance ya singing karte hain.....

Community service ke naam par ek aadhi trekking... Nahi toh group banake sirf is ladki ko patana hai us ladki ko patana hai... Is teacher ko sabak sikhana hai...

Most of the students enrolled in Engg... Don't even know what they want to do after engg..

Job market on tr khoop screwed ahe na. System is because of us and we are because of system. 🤦 Parents lokancha pn councelling whayla hava.

I can relate about students... Barach maaz asto Indians madhe mahit nahi kuthun yeto. These kids are pretty avg.... I was bullied in school because I studied And I had very less friends because I liked reading, watching movies and theater. Marathi madhe nobody was interested. Pustaki kida, pandhri paal, taap-tip porgi, shembdi paal barich nava hoti mala. Girls are also no less few girls in my class shamelessly hit on seniors with very vulgar behaviour.
