Heart’s Greatest Illusion is “Love.”

This is my personal perspective, shaped by experience. The narrative of love has shifted as I grew from a child to a teenager to an adult. Life has revealed love in so many different forms that I am left astonished. Should love have morals? The very idea of love has become treacherous, capable of molding someone into weaker ling. People say love should not come with conditions, yet I am still trying to understand whether love truly justifies feelings or if it is simply a component of living a healthy life.

I often wonder if I was ever truly loved by my family, my partner, my friends, or my colleagues. I never felt important in their lives. I always felt like I was just there, like a piece of furniture. Time and again, I have searched for someone who could make me feel that my existence matters. It’s not about being prioritized, but simply about being seen. I have always been there for others, yet when I needed support, no one was there for me.

Since then, I have turned inward. I focus on myself loving myself, caring for myself, and finding the best possible ways to live for myself. I have been betrayed by my partner, my family, and my colleagues. As for friends, I don’t think I ever truly had any.

I am different. I don’t find people appealing to talk to. I am not arrogant, just selective. To stay relevant for work or family, I engage only in limited conversations. Love changes people, because its meaning is shaped by countless narratives of how it should be. But in reality, it is very hard. The world isn’t kind anymore.

Love it is the most overrated word to ever exist. Dhanush once said, something similar: it’s all bullcrap...

I have seen people or even me doing impossible things that phase is definitely like you described you're on Moon,7th sky 😂but when reality come down to earth,it's like I am that fish out of water🥺

Love for yourself is such an important thing, Sallu... it never is something one can expect from others... however, in my mind, love isn't something only focussed on people, it is a state of mind for everything that surrounds us or what we do.

Our existence is not only because we lived for a certain time in the womb of a woman... if a mother's/father's love is given to us, it's fine... it's like an additional gift we get but it's not the purpose of our life on earth, it is like an extra, I think. The purpose is to choose - when able to do so - what we see as our purpose: spreading love ourselves or wanting to get it...

Yes, I think, love is thought by the forces of the Universe to be unconditional... conditions are something our mind puts on what is happening to us... not what we call 'heart'. We don't put conditions on our love when still small kids... we love unconditionally... but with time, it can get lost (like our memory of previous lives and wisdoms aquired)

Much bigger sages as I am have talked and written about it... it's them I looked for to educate me to understand what love encapsulates...

I don't live with expectations but with hopes... and a strong connection to all those whose love I've experienced but have died (living in a sphere where human sensitivities are understood but not felt)... asking them for help and support (and being grateful to that).

Your words carry so much quiet pain, and I could feel the weight of all those disappointments between the lines.smiley31 Sometimes the deepest wound is not betrayal itself, but feeling unseen and unheard despite giving so much of yourself to others. Yet even after all that, you chose to turn inward and learn to care for yourself smiley27 and that takes immense strength.

Maybe love is not always the grand feeling people describe or the ‘7th sky’ moments. Sometimes it is simply being seen, being valued, and finding peace within ourselves, when the world fails us. I hope life one day brings you people who make you feel your existence matters, not because you asked for it, but because you truly do matter.smiley27smiley10smiley27 I've sent a PM to you with utmost love. smiley31

Yes, I'm grateful for this place... being loved or not... if being liked, it's a gift (but never expected)... I joined it to spread positive thinking in a world where negativity spoils so many lives...

LOVE… everyone has a different interpretation of what love truly is. For me, it is an abstract feeling, a state of mind, something that cannot always be explained logically or expressed perfectly in words. It is simply felt.

Personally, I do believe love exists. I may not be able to define exactly why or how, because emotions are often beyond explanation!! But love is real in the way it touches hearts, changes people, and gives meaning to life.

Those who say love does not exist may have been hurt badly enough to stop believing in it altogether. Pain can sometimes make people build walls around their hearts.smiley19

Love, in my opinion, is an important part of life. Without love, whether from family, friends, or a partner, life can feel empty and incomplete. But at the same time, I do not believe in the unrealistic “movie-style” love where everything is perfect all the time. Real love is not flawless or dramatic like films portray it to be. Real love is understanding, patience, trust, sacrifice, and staying together despite imperfections.

True love may not look cinematic, but in its quiet and genuine form, it definitely exists, like a cool breeze, like a sweet fragrance.

First of all Madhuri, thank you for loving me when I needed it the most.

Love definitely exists. We are social animal, if love did not exist we would not have survived.

If love is an illusion, is not hatred an illusion too...by that logic? At least love is the best illusion.

And I am not someone qualified to talk about love. I always feel that I can not love at all. Yet always feel that I am extremely loved. That feels almost unjust.

Yet if you ask,"Who loves you?", I can not point to any particular person.

Lots of love smiley27
