DK ko negative banna hi tha irrespective of what the audience thinks of him.. we all knew when he made the entry...

Because making PL negative and be after FL is the most used trope and easy to write..

There are hardly any itv shows were PL is shown as human as one can be in real life..

I am confused with the original motto of the show khoon vs pyaar now. Just recently I thought they are sticking to it after Ronnie DK convo. Vik, the ML also vouched for it. So now they are going to prove khoon is superior? Shruthi maa, dk baba gaye bhad mein. Vik and Mannat’s khoon will win?!! May be they are showing some dil ke rishte like neetu are good but not all… equal importance to khoon and dil.

Todays episode only reminds me of one dialogue by our old DCP… rubber koh itna bhi mat kheencho ki with toot jaye!!!

After all DCP and Vikrant are truly brothers… Vish brainwashed vik last time … this time it’s DCPs turn to be brainwashed by Neetu Malla and Yashika…

The repeated taunting by the trio vamps worked to break DCP!

Happy to disagree he wasn’t brought in day one to be negative… he was a full on support for FL. He is made negative just now and they built his fear of losing Dua very well! From where I see he was deliberately instigated by the three vamps … he was also listening half of conversations Mannat had with Vik and Dua had with Bunty….

The tragedy of this show and writers is that they dont get the audience to feel connected to any character for a long time. Everything looks fake after a week because they are changing things every week. I truly cant understand if the audience are connecting to Adnan or vik, mannat or ayesha? I think they connect to the actors. Not characters. And their roles may be?

DK was truly written well. Dua and DK actors really put in lot of effort to build the emotion. I didnt see much of DK with earlier actress Yami. She was also good when I watched some episodes. I see some youtube clips, and there seem to be a genuine love for DK character from the comments. It says that the audience are connected. I also loved Malla during initial episodes, but somehow i was expecting her to turn negative because it was following the OG turkish show. Though I knew DK will be turned negative, last few episodes gave me a feeling that he will be spared. Alas!

I dont know if I have to feel happy or sad. Happy because my judgement of writers turned out true again. Sad because it gave me a sad feeling watching today's episode. Whatever mannat and vik said to DK felt so flat ... no depth, nothing knowing the fact that DK is turning negative. Manit acted well though.

Yes both are Vishakha Kumar’s sons. Khoon khoon hota hai!

But I feel DK’s character was written such that it could be twisted at any point.

DK is no Shruti... After Aishs reveal and when Aish had been partially positive (she had cooked that Anirush assault story)... Shruti told Mannat that its fine if she wants to call Aish as mom...

This is the key difference between Neetu DK and Shruti.

Shruti was truly selfless in that respect. But Neetu DK aren't and thats when Neetu believed Vish was innocent and DK knows Vik is innocent 🫤.

In Duas case both khoon ka rishta and dil ka rishta are lovable unlike ManViks.

I strongly feel they are going to equate DK and Neetu. Both are obsessive about their foster kids.

In OG Cennet there was a guy (Mallas uncle) who was in love with Cennet. And had issues with Selim. So DK is not exactly a new character... but the relationships are different.

Do you all feel they will whitewash DK at the end? I know it depends upon how much they will make him stoop low but they are again and again highlighting his bond with Dua as a room for his forgiveness. I have said this long back and even Daman as well, that his character is closely similar to Neetu in many terms so they might show if Neetu despite her atrocities towards Mannat can still get called as a good mother, same might happen with DK? I won't be surprised if its Vikrant who will whitewash DK as he is his brother and also due to Dua, same how Mannat, Neetu's biggest victim whitewashed Neetu for Vikrant. He won't spare him regarding Mannat thats given and DK will lose Mannat's friendship but he might forgive him regarding Dua as he is her foster father and he wont want Dua to go through toxicity. I'm purely saying this as he is getting highlighted alot as Dua's father and there was a chatter in insta gc where in someone's dm, Mukta defended Dua Dhairya Kumar saying how Dua is honouring her adoptive father's love and sacrifice, how adoptive parents are also so great. This might be similar situation to pre leap with Mannat Vikrant role reversal. Vikrant suffered mentally when he got to see how Rotu did his business and that overshadowed their love for him, so he might not want Dua to go through similar mental torture as him and will ultimately forgive him? Ulta I feel Mannat will be quite ruthless with him just like how Vikrant was towards Neetu pre leap as this will be an ultimate backstabbing for her.

I'm clearly calculating this as per Mukta's love towards Manit, show's concept on foster parenting and trp gamble.

Todays episode perception is heavily influenced by promo

Vik has had growth. I feel better on that aspect. Always believed his kid will be responsible for his growth. Thats what we are seeing now.

Vik pacifying Dua was the only good thing about the episode. Dua is too young and obviously she cant be forced to like someone or something instantly. Vik understands that and he genuinely believes DK has right on Dua ❤️. Will wait for Duas acceptance. Its also good that Dau accepts Vik as bio father.

Vik DK convo was drab. Didnt invoke the emotions it was supposed to do. Probably because we know whats coming but personally I felt Adnan wasnt convinced. It doesnt usually happen with him but today he was not upto his mark.

Either they filmed hastily or the flip isnt making sense to these guys.

Mannat on the contrary was little better. I liked that she finally took a stance. That she loves Vik but DK is important too and she will make sure to bring back DK if he leaves.

One interesting line was Vik aapki jagah nahi le rahe hai... ofcourse... Vik has his own place in Mannats life 🥰

But again, the loyal viewer in me rues that she never showed such haq on Vik. 😕. Not in front of Malla... not in front of Y now

Everyone has repeatedly assured him that he is the father and sole decision maker for Dua. So if he takes some decision for her... it would be justified by him as taken for Duas well being. At this point he is same as Neetu. Blind for their kid and justifying the means to achieve desirable end.
