Thank god they took you hospital right away and not wait for ambulance etc and anyways I think in India, colleagues, friends, relatives would be faster than ambulance no? Yes, brain and body goes to survival mode so that we can survive if possible and then its the will power that kicks in later.

Yeah. I think my will power kicked really fast after coming to consciousness. Remembering my parents' phone numbers to tell my colleagues to call them. Arranging for someone younger to take over getting my stitches and everything, I thought quickly.

Though for 45 minutes I couldn't remember how I met with the accident. The emergency doctors were filing a hit and run case in case I don't remember how this happened.

I eventually did.

Once I came back home, and when I could finally relax in the vicinity of my family, did my brain lag started, more so because of the injuries too.

I couldn't think many obvious things for some days, after which my family realised that I am still reeling from the shock.smiley36

Nah! State Level. She was so scared telling her family to go beyond Bhopal, that she left her nationals opportunity without even asking her family.

Congratulations to the unexpected winner, DC, for their win against the indomitable PBKS. smiley10

Punjab Kings slip to their fourth consecutive defeat and miss a huge opportunity to reclaim the top spot on the table. Their bowling and fielding continue to remain major concerns

I sometimes really wonder that God wanted me to come back, or else I would have easily passed away and nobody would have come to know this until afternoon when it would have been my time to return home after work. I met with the accident when I was going to work in the morning.

I had so blissfully lost my memory back then, that it actually felt that death must be this peaceful and quiet, because you actually are registering nothing.

What you went through sounds deeply frightening, and even years later, memories like that can still echo in the mind and heart. Surviving something so close to death changes a person in ways others may never fully understand.

But perhaps the very fact that you are here today, sharing these thoughts, means your story was meant to continue, yes, to continue, not just to survive, but to heal, to feel, and to touch lives in ways you may not even realize.

Trauma does not disappear overnight. Sometimes the body heals faster than the mind. Be gentle with yourself when those memories return. The peace you felt in that moment may have been your mind protecting you from fear, but the strength you showed in coming back from it is something truly remarkable.

I hope, little by little, life keeps giving you reasons to feel safe again,smiley27 to smile freely again,smiley31 and to believe that your presence in this world still matters deeply.smiley31
