Now that you mentioned it, it does make sense why they needed a culprit, but regardless, the ending was less than satisfactory. The writers could have executed it better than they did 😩🥲.

They could have brought out Abul Mali for this one, but I guess it was too early to heighten the stakes for the serial. And even then, I did not really enjoy the Abul Mali and Mah Chuchak arc either. So much wasted potential with that one, honestly. It could have been better, but they chose to bring in the worst track I'll have the misfortune of watching - the Khaibar track...I reserve my comments on that one.

P.S: the pregnancy arc is going to bring a lot of tension with it, but hopefully nothing too bad 😅

Absolutely, I agree with this because the relationship between Jodha and Jalal is not steady at all for him to even trust her at all. She should have used a lot of tact regarding this, in my opinion.

And while Jalal is still young, I still believe he has had enough experience to know that not even family can be trusted (one of his uncles tried to kill him when he was young) and the serial has established that he does not trust easily. But also, I can understand why he'd readily trust Maham given that she was his wet nurse.

The Atifa track was also stupid and so unnecessary af, aside from the fact that we have the Khaibar track tangled with it, it is the fact that Maham Anga really thought she could honey trap Jalal to overthrow him 💀. But then, Jalal in this serial has created quite the pattern if we think back to Benazir.

In addition to that, the way he really disrespected Jodha in this track grated on my nerves. Investigation or not, he could have communicated at least, instead of humiliating her.

In fact, my major problem with this series is how Jalal could humiliate Jodha and get away with it for the most part. I doubt he would have done the same thing with Ruqaiya (who has offended him in more serious ways than Jodha has). The way he treated Jodha, he never treated actual traitors like Sharifuddin in such a manner.

Honestly, I also skipped the Mah Chuchak track; it was too boring, and the terrible CGI for Kabul was very distracting. Again, a wasted potential.

P.S: I swear, I am working on the chapter. It was so long that I had to splice it into two chapters. I hope by the end of the month, I will be done with drafting, and I will finally upload it.
