Maan Geet 3S : The Returning love[Part 2 on Pg 2]
I guessed it right ye lal ishq hai hahaha. Ghode ko dekh kad patha chala

I saw Dhurandhar yesterday and somehow feeling low that Hamza toyed Uziar like anything and then made him the scapegoat while Uzair was so completely into his friendship with Hamza
To be honest he was the only person who doesnt match in looks to the actual person, This Danish was so cute and innocent. Such a huge gangster cant be so nor can they trust anyone unconditionally
They made so many creative liberties, couldn't they show Uzair was killed as well
Uzair was as much a support to Hamza there as was Yalina.
How do you see

Uzair’s fate in the movie is based on the real story that Uzair Baloch has been in prison and has been charged with being an Indian spy and a traitor. So I pretty much knew this was coming even before I stepped into the theatre.
It makes sense in hindsight why Hamza never killed Uzair because it would help Dhar stay true to reality while allowing him to ensure that Jaskirat is brought back home. In the end credits we see the glimpses of the kind of training Jaskirat underwent and that’s a significant part. If you notice, the very last shot where he punched Rizwan and knocked him out was the exact technique he used to get himself out of a similar deadlock with Iqbal in their fight in the container yard. The montage also includes Bansal teaching about how to find a person in the gang to be a false friend too - someone who is more emotional than practical and sharp. This was the technique used by Hamza to lull Uzair into believing him as a true friend. We saw that Uzair had asked Iqbal why couldn’t he buy the weapons from Shirani himself and Iqbal found the comment so ludicrous he had to laugh and state - the Baloch are fighting us, why would they sell their weapons to us?
Hamza knew he had found the perfect idiot to make a scapegoat there and then.
As for the physical resemblance, I guess they took a bit of liberty with one guy which is fine. They probably thought better settle for a credible performance than looks alone. As for gangsters not being so naive or trusting, well it’s about trust. Most of the times such people are always betrayed by a person who is close to them be it a friend, lover or family. So no issues there.
Regarding Uzair being a help to Yalina, I don’t think we ever saw them even interacting properly.
I personally hope that we have a Dhurandhar 3 someday, Aditya Raj Kaul was on a podcast recently where he’s not ruled out the possibility of the same happening. You know he’s the research consultant who helped Dhar with fact checking and timeline as well as perhaps provide some covert intel not privy to public knowledge. He’s worked with him for URI and now Dhurandhar. So 🤞🏼
We know Vancouver was already mentioned and Jaskirat dons a Sikh attire at the end. I believe it’s 2 years ago that Trudeau blamed us for killing an allegedly innocent plumber who was also moonlighting as a drug dealer and a Khalistani separatist and terrorist… so you never know 😌
I really would love to see Jaskirat reunite with Yalina and his son in Vancouver. If not his mom and sister, his nephews.. he gets to have this side of his family.

Uzair Baloch is arrested for his crimes in Pakistan including arson, loot, murder and kidnapping and he is taken for leaking internal information to Iran and not India. (Uzair Baloch holds dual nationality of Iran and Pakistan) so they definitely took a huge creative liberty here that he is in prison for spying for India, they could have very well shown that he died.
I didn't say Yalina and Uzair had relations, I said Uzair supported Hamza as a friend/brother as much as Yalina did to Hamza as a wife, so for Hamza both Yalina and Uzair should have held similar (if not same) value. He was so protective for Yalina to remember her till end, I don't expect him being same for Uzair but he could have at least not toyed backstabbed destroyed his life in this way that even after coming out he could be lynched by masses.
Real Uzair is expected to get released in 2032, so I don't think Uzair will be a part of 3rd movie even if it releases.

Uzair was convicted as someone who had links with Kulbhushan Jadhav, and accused of thus supplying information to India via Jadhav based in Iran.
IMO, Jaskirat set foot in Pakistan with a very clear agenda that he aims to destroy Pakistan and therefore all his connections will be fake. He set foot in the country with no intention whatsoever to form any personal bonds of any kind because to him they’re essentially the enemy. Yet he ends up making genuine connections and they end up being Aalam and Yalina IMO. Uzair was never one as to Jaskirat he was actively a man who would help ISI against India. He also saw that Rehman and Uzair had no regard for their own people and so he lost any respect for them.
We see Jaskirat having a genuine compassion for the Baloch and their suffering. He even understands that they were made unwilling accomplices in 26/11. It’s why he never tried to get Shirani killed or do it himself. He knew they played a role but also that much like how he unwittingly armed Kasab, so did they. But he also understood that they were a threat that needed to be dealt with as well as an asset to be utilised. The ISI got Rehman to exploit them once, they could do so again in the future with someone else. He knew that he had to weaken this supply chain however much he could for however long he could. He also saw them as being a force unto themselves who would willingly go head to head against the ISI with the right motivation and push. It’s why he has them attack Muridke in the end.
The idea itself is to show that human emotions have no place in the face of reality like this. A spy needs to be strategic enough to make connections and cold enough to make use of them to the best advantage possible for the sake of his/her mission.
I mean look at Jamali, he knows Hamza is a spy from a long time surely. It explains why he never has anyone try to kill him once his daughter elopes with him. A man like him who is a MNA could’ve used the cops, any gangster to eliminate one man but he doesn’t for a simple reason. He knows who Hamza is and how it’s his job to ensure his safety. In the end as he does exactly that, do the dual job of a coordinator and a FIL helping out his asset/SIL, he doesn’t compromise on the mission nor on the safety of his daughter and grandson. He could’ve arranged for Yalina and Zayan to leave with Hamza with fake IDs and everything too, am sure Sanyal wouldn’t have argued if he thought that Jamali was making this decision as he has to trust his coordinator’s judgment on the ground. But Jamali felt that the decision to let his daughter be heartbroken and his grandson to grow up fatherless was better than the alternative of them being hunted lest the truth be discovered somehow. Them being asked to redo their whole life to accommodate the new reality would’ve come with their own set of complications as it is - Yalina needing to adjust with whatever she’s asked to do. Maybe pose as a Hindu woman who has no clue how to be one. But Zayan being both old enough to question things and young enough to unintentionally make an error despite the best of coaching to be a new person would always be akin to a sword dangling over their heads. Jamali also didn’t know what would be asked of Hamza next once he’s in India and recovered from his injuries and debriefed. He knew Hamza can switch his identity if asked to do so for a new mission be it anywhere and RAW will ensure he’s as well trained and assisted as possible but even they wouldn’t be comfortable with him coming to their doorstep with a Pakistani wife and son in tow who require similar training.
In the end he made the decision that was for the best given the circumstances. At least here he could ensure that his daughter and grandson were safe, secure and probably even groom Yalina to be the next MNA of Lyari after him. She doesn’t have to be a spy like him but he can make sure that he secure her future as much as possible. If it means she settle abroad with her son, then he can do that too. He knew making them disappear would be dooming them to the unknown where he himself may have no clue regarding their whereabouts or even whether they are alive or not. It would also mean he and his wife could be killed and the mission he’s given practically his whole life too would be compromised. The fallout would have a domino effect on his country.
So yeah, I think we can safely say spies are made of some different stuff altogether. They have to make decisions we can’t fathom for reasons that could be beyond our grasp.

AFAIK, Uzair was definitely linked with Kulbhushan when the latter was sentenced but that wasn't established and he not actually convicted for spying for India, rather he was established regarding spying for Iran and other local crimes. I might be wrong if you know...
Regarding the other parts, I am not saying anything else just that the relation of Uzair and Hamza as they developed was such that this huge backstabbing on Uzair to the level that not just he is jailed for life but actually in constant fear once he is out made me uncomfortable. Maybe that was intentional but Uzair never came out as the villian in the movie you could hate but rather a simpleton in crime world. hence that betrayal left a sour taste in my heart. I felt more at the sight of Uzair than Jaskirat when he doesn't meet his family..
And I must say Danish Pandor had a great role in that feeling that's why I said they should have caste someone else

How do you see
if uzair actor was aslam bhai and aslam bhai was uzair actor would people feel sympathy?
i mean the actor who gave hamza work in chai shop, guy with specks who died
everything was a role play for hamza. and these people are terrorists. they deserve worse. the moment hamza's trurh was out good friend uzair will kill him like someone beats a dog
i have one issue with the movie that yalina didnt have to be barely legal. it added nothing to story. that they have a son is ick to me. as if we dont have enough pedo around us hamza is a pedo too
