if ranveer is chandragupta maurya i want either ajay, aamir or akshaye khanna to play chanakya.

Chanakya's role would be the best but I would not mind him playing either. He is a perfect warrior king but at the same time seeing him as crafty Chanakya would also be such a delight. But tbh Ranveer and historicals is a win win, plus with That onboard and this story, I can understand why Jio and Birlas would bid on this. Yes either of the characters are going to be an eyesore....To think what Ranveer could bring to the table playing these larger than life characters....ohhh are we in for a feast or what....

I know the nasty PR tried to convince everyone how nobody wanted to work with him and that he had to dance at the Ambani weddings to make sure they invest in his projects...Lol...halwa hai kya? Last 4 months have been most rewarding to see every naysayer get their behind handed back to them....

I would love for ranveer to work with aditya dhar again, but nothing is confirmed as of now, reddit has gotten many things wrong and people try to get attention on there by saying all sorts of false stuff, anyone can post anything on there. But yes i would love for ranveer and aditya to collaborate again

If this is true, as in, it’s Chandragupt Maurya, I really am so pumped about the scale and the sheer grandeur we will have.

Also this means Chanakya, his mentor!

I do wonder which role will RS essay because while expecting him to play Chandragupt is a bit natural, I do wonder if Dhar would focus on Chanakya rather who made Chandragupt who he was and RS plays him! Would be absolutely brilliant and subversive of the expectations from the project!

I think it’s also a brave and bold move by Dhar if he’s switching genres. Not sure if he’s worker on an historical in any capacity in his career so far but I think he will definitely do it justice if he’s as meticulous as he was in Dhurandhar.

Crazily, I am curious what the music of this project maybe because it can’t use Bollywood retro hits or pop hits at all

Yes...the possibilities are unlimited..If this really comes true, I think I will go pagal fr....

Knowing Dhar's interest in politics, it is more likely that he will be more inclined to explore Chanakya's character....Because I mean just imagine the content he will have to play with...But I won't mind if the central character is Chandragupta Maurya himself...Both such strong powerful characters that they have scope for two leads...

This Aditya guy will he only direct all these political types of films ? Try venture out other genre too. They are so many genre to explore. Risk it come out from comfort zone & explore . After a long time people will get bored with political films. He is typecast to direct such films.
