There will be riots in streets one day…

India population is huge.. many are poor.. they’ll definitely resort to violence or any means necessary to procure LPG & Petrol from others within the country..

Govt should do population control measures so that population doesn’t increase further.. and put further strain on already existing infrastructure..

The potential impact of this is beyond prices. I am not trying to scare you - If Iran is able to hit some of the targets it has mentioned - it leads to massive short supply of essential goods. Immediate cessation of hostilities will impact lives in more ways than one.

Yes, the rich can manage most of it and the middle class and poor can’t. However this will be a global impact and not just India.

Those 22 tankers crossing as soon as possible by weekend would definitely delay immediate issues for India

Some people can only think of violence like riots in streets.

When the impact is on everyone, riots don’t solve anything. Why do I even bother with people that can’t think beyond basics and keep saying Hindu Muslim to me and speak of riots and crazy stuff

Easiest popn control measure would be to send the ghoospatiyas back along with traitors. But then it comes back to religion as a problem vs illegals should be deported. And who is blamed - people who want illegals to be deported not because of religion but because they are illegals

Despite all my criticisms for some policies of the current bjp Government I must say it's doing a brilliant job in ensuring that general Indian public gets the least hit from this war situation. 👍👍

India has always been resilient. Most people don’t remember its history and should speak to their parents and grandparents.

It was not so long ago - 20 years maybe or less where people ran out of gas cylinders and hence they all had stoves and coal grills at home.

So this won’t be a problem for fights and such. One might need to realize there might be rolling blackouts. Conserve energy. Coal fired grills.

Let’s not think of the worst yet. We are not there yet and let’s keep some hope alive. But I still don’t believe it comes down to fights unless the Islamic extremists resort to it. The sanatanis are tolerant and resilient and used t overcoming challenges with peace

They have been doing it since a while. It just wasn’t apparent when they continued to buy discounted Russian oil despite US tariffs protecting its citizens. The spate of FTAS with large number of countries brought US back to table.

Some policies can’t be implemented that they have on their wish list due to numbers need in parliament and rajya sabha. People need to give them the mandate they need to make bigger structural reforms. I won’t get into details here on that

I still remember videos of people in Pakistan looting atta from trucks during covid crisis...

I'm not giving up hope but my life mantra is - Hope for the best but prepare for the worst.

We Indians are pretty good at adapting and jugads so I know we'll manage somehow but initially, during shortages, things will go pretty wild like we saw during lpg shortage few days back.
