How do we reduce dependency ? It’s called supply chain diversification. Also the government created SPR as a buffer. we have both. But during such wars when a vital passage (transport) is shut off, India is not alone in impact for its energy needs. Even an economical behemoth like China will face issues. India bought oil from Russia despite tarriffs placing its citizens needs above anything else and sovereign rights.

Government will do its best but there will likely be some challenges due to the war. The world is facing those challenges in one way or another with the attacks on energy infrastructure in addition to the problem with Hormuz

I have full faith in current govt of India that the challenges will be there but the government will always be doing its very best for the people.

Just imagine - they can’t even agree to say Vanday Mataram. The list is very large. Remember they took of pakistans flags out on streets for people to step on after Pehelgaum.
