I noticed that you have mentioned Mannat doing this or that. When Vikrant is equally responsible. Are you saying Vikrant marrying her in secret, consummating the marriage, then leaving her is all fine ? Because Mannat 'pursued' him while he was married?

Mannat pursued him for a reason; after she found out about Malla's deceit. And does anyone remember the scene? Malla mocked her saying Vikrant trusts her completely, as opposed to asking Mannat for proof.

Them being together is not accepted by anyone. At this point, except for Manvik, everyone has what they wanted. Manvik are not together. Period.

My point being, let things go on as they are. Let Vikrant marry Yaashika, and Mannat go back to Indore with DK and Dua. Where's the conflict then? Where is the story? Do we really want that? If Mannat is so wrong for Vikrant, and vice versa then let them not unite at all?

I read on X, Vikrant should not have come back to Mumbai, what Neetu said was right. Then what are we watching ? Vikrant in London would be a totally different story right? And if Vikrant had a stable life, it would never make a story, sorry to say.

i am sorry for the ramble and for directing the post at you CT. No offense meant.

But the only way forward is to look at the story post leap, how the dynamics change, how does each one's lie come out. And the dynamics will change. Characters will change. If Vikrant changed totally because of the truth of his life, maybe Dhairya will also change when he faces losing the family he created for himself. We have to accept that as well.

Pre leap is done and dusted. We are well entrenched in the story now. And acc to me, this show still has one of the best leap reasons. Both the ML and FL have solid reasons for their actions; justifiable or not.

Scar, I only have 1 stand since leap "one hand cannot clap" , both have made mistakes, still making mistakes and until they realize this and prioritize eachother nothing will change for them.

I will quote what Ayesha/Adnan said in IV's if they love eachother they should be able to forgive eachother even if they have made gravest mistakes🤩.

Arey no scarlett... First of all In my previous post I didnot just mention mannat,i mentioned both mannat and vik were wrong from social/moral perspective in case of vik-malla scenario

Secondly...My point is that all of us including myself understood manvik's actions in the above scenario beyond social expectations.. so why put vik's reactions on wedding day into those social expectations,why not understand his reactions beyond social expectations...

And yes vik would have been wrong if he left mannat after the terrace wedding but from his perspective he never left mannat, from his perspective mannat left him by leaving the town....from vik's pov he was not in a position to decide on what to do and what not to do, his whole identity collapsed. .he is in lot of confusion about what to do and what not to do...so he just asked time....then they had a fallout and then mannat leaving town made him feel that she doesn't want to continue to be in relationship with him ... So if mannat herself doesnt want to be with him, how can he force his way into her life...

The point is from vik's perspective mannat left their relationship by leaving the town and from mannat's perspective vik left their relationship by divorcing her... from both their perspective the other person left the relationship.. So neither vik left mannat, nor did mannat leave vik it was the misunderstanding that caused the separation..

I don’t know the CT post you wrote this in context to.

But if the leap just means villains still winning, why bother having one?

The way I see it, they want some sentimentality which they brought through 3 children. Mothers watching will automatically identify with one of the kids.

Seeing clips today of episode & BTS for tomorrow, insults and abuse will continue for Mannat. No one is investigating the freezer driver. Asswarya will still win. Dhairya has half turned into cobra 5.

I am just rambling I know. But after almost 400 episodes, wouldn’t everyone want better writing, redemptions,punishments, TRP drops & some loss of arrogance where makers are concerned? Holi took 3 weeks,thand rakho non wedding 4-5 weeks. What new rubbish is coming our way??

Watching dumb Vikrant makes me want to stuff my head into a gas oven. Don’t worry, gas nahin hai.

But that is exactly what i am saying. Both have made mistakes. Why is Mannat CAed? While Vikrant is given leeway for trauma? Mannat's mother died in a brutal road accident. She also went into deep trauma.

For both Manvik, that day was the worst day of their lives.

And they will forgive each other. When certain truths begin to come out.

Post leap is about them getting to know what happened to their lives, and how they were manipulated, not by circumstances but by people around them.

Their lives came to a standstill when they left each other. Both would not have survived, without the children to keep them a little buoyant.

How they make their way back to each other, if they do, is the ongoing story.

At times I wonder what love actually means for Vikrant,

Vikrant not marrying Mannat was not for or against social expectation. It is a personal value system that a guy is supposed to have within himself. the same value within him that made him marry Malla because he was made to feel he slept with her!!

I wish Shruti should have tried to kill Mannat infront of Vikrant, then he might've gotten married to her.

Seems like you missed out on my second part.. From vik's pov he didn't leave mannat he just asked for time and then mannat left the town... If you are saying just asking time from mannat to clear out his thoughts is leaving her, then I understand you... but how can we expect a person to think that straight, figure out things, weigh values and take decisions in such difficult situations... is he really so wrong to ask some time?

For me both faced trauma , Mannat lost Shurti, found out she was pregnant , Vikrant lost his identity, RoTu, Dadi, got his memories back. Vikrant feels Mannat left him , Mannat feels Vikrant rejected Dua.

The common connection between them is Dua, until Dua's heart strings tie to Vikrant without any expectations, attachments or forced relationships, there won't be anything which will link Vikrant & Mannat together. Though the episodes are slow hopefully this is where it's going, DuVik bonding ❤️

I am definitely not following who is CA Mannat and giving a free pass to Vikrant because of his trauma 🙈
