I have never liked that DK can have feelings for Mannat. That's where I draw the line. From my POV (or the culture I have grown up with) husband's brother is like your brother...

DKs feelings have apparently developed after living together as fake parents and spending considerable time. Even then he knows Mannat is his younger brothers wife and mother to his daughter and that makes it wrong. I personally cannot accept this angle. Never will.

I dont mention it much because other parts of India have different connotations on Jeth Bahu equation. Doesn't fit my understanding but wont question.

Thats another core reason why DK or Mannat getting upset with Viks CA allegations made sense pre leap. Had DK been any random guy I would have still understood Viks jealousy .. but making such allegations on his fiancee and his elder brother is where it was demeaning for them and their morals and I get if both are upset about this with Vik. It was humiliating.

But with this flip in DK, it directly says Vish was right all along even if the situation changed at some later date.

I would have loved if Mukta/Jassi had shown DK as true supporter friend but still possessive about Dua.🤷🏻‍♀️. This is 2026... not every man woman relationship has to be romantic. But well 🫣

Coming to episode yesterday... that look was from both DK and Y... but only DKs was noticed by Vik, not Y.

Anyway... what I felt (after a good nights sleep) is they were drawing a parallel to the wedding fiasco episodes and more specifically from the time DK found out about Vish.

RD... this is what I meant... you wanted Mannat to understand how Vik must have felt seeing her with DK. Now she might... "meri jagah" is the point of contestation between Kumar brothers. 🙄

Vishs words have the power to work on Kumar brothers. It worked on Vik pre leap and it is working on DK post Holi.

Vik got influenced by a mere picture (of hug and handhold) and now DK is seeing it live and getting affected.

Vish like a true mother knows which nerve to hit for her sons 😢.

However, pre leap Vik saw a few hugs, didnt knew the Jeth Bahu discussion.... post leap hugs and Chai sessions are not known to him. He knows the pretense marriage and will respect that. Mannat knows where she stands but DK might misuse that.

Similarly DK wasnt around when Vik confessed his feelings, made Mannat wear the ring and didnt see Mannats joy with Vik in their private Holi celebration.

Both brothers are unaware where she stands 😢

The only other person/s who can vouch for Mannats loyalty to Vik are RoTu who have been carefully kept away. And they wont come in picture till Vish is exposed.

So I expect more on this DMV equation 🫣 since the TRP favours them 🙄

The Vik Malla parallel is what DM equation is. Mannat trusts DK completely and he might in future use it like Malla uses Viks trust to manipulate him. Thats what DK did yesterday ... when he agreed with Mannat but later doubted on Arzoo. So he might pretend to be on her side but will keep having doubts.

Kidult... I mentioned this the day DNA test failed

As a police officer DK is trained to trust the proofs, especially the one he has collected and the vamps will make sure Aish is protected. So any proof DK collects (in future) will be cancelled or twisted or manipulated in someway to keep the doubt lingering that Aish is not Arzoo. With each defeat in this regard, DK will start getting convinced Arzoo is not Aish but Mannat will keep insisting. That might become the conflict between them like it was between ManVik.

What is Mannats one basic issue with Vik??? She mentioned it yesterday as well. That he doesnt trust her without proofs...

Cool... There will be a role reversal in this regard is what I feel. Going ahead Vik will start trusting Mannats gut feelings and DK will insist on the proofs he has collected or will collect.

Vik by now is gradually changing... I dont suppose he has noticed that... but he has started doubting. I loved when he pointed out Malla doesnt like Mannat and so there is a possibility that Malla might have said something to Dua out of hatred. That itself is a big leap for Vik.

And he is keen to keep Mannat around him... if he starts doubting that someone wants to harm Dua and Mannat (as per spoilers he will) he might start paying more attention to Mannats words and instincts.... without proof.

This is where Mannat will start leaning towards Vik, DK will get upset and the "meri jagah" will be brought out again.

Pre leap Mannat was aligning with DK for Vik... post leap Mannat will align with Vik for Dua... if her safety is at stake.

We all knew DK will get possessive about Dua... and its understandable. He has been with her since the day of her birth. This attachment would be where DK will assert his rights... and even if Vik finds out Dua is his daughter... after an initial bout of anger he cant reveal it to Dua or claim hers as his till he removes himself from VY equation... which is a difficult situation since Vik believes Y is a good person.

Mannat will have guilt over DK taking Viks position in Duas life and Vik will be in guilt for keeping Y hanging all these years when he might want to get out.

In all this there is a completely different angle to think of.

@Mona ... Like Kidult had mentioned long back.. if we believe DK had feelings for Mannat pre leap... it muddies DK Dua relationship as well... which is one of the beautiful relationships post leap.

And just for this sake... or if they want DK to be next Gens Shruti Maa like Purple feels ... DK will not turn negative. He might realize what he feels is affection and not love or he will actively work to suppress those feelings.

If however, he turns negative, then he has to die for ManVik to come together.

Just to clarify on all this... I still have no expectations on DK... that he would ever resolve things on his own... thats not his job, neither his role.... he is a side character and not lead.... his actions are to keep creating issues between leads and indirectly bring them closer. Same as Malla or Aish or Vish or even Y.

I dont expect him to own up to his mistakes or work on resolving ManViks issues. That has to happen for them by themselves. DK cannot end up looking better than Vik.

This freezer kaand aftermath will tell us a lot more... whether DK acted like that in the heat of moment... or he is actually starting to l get territorial... and whether Vik actually starts doubting the versions told to him. Like I mentioned the other day... even if Vik thinks Arzoo is not Aish.. the only other person is Malla who was there in Mannats freezer situation... and Malla being Yuvis mom can recreate it. The similarity of the crime has to mean something. And Vik should doubt Malla if not Arzoo.

Only Pawan was insisting that there is VY marriage track ahead ... and that it would have a twist... but his other spoilers are not true... so not sure if the VY engagement spoiler is to be considered... though if TRP supports it is possible they decided to move along that path 🤦‍♀️ ... Duas truth expose is delayed. And so is Vishs 🙄

Can they atleast expose Malla 😭😭😭

Aish cant protect her as Arzoo and clearly hinted that she will save herself before anyone else. Malla has to see that.

P.S. I do get bored discussing DK but seems there would be no respite 😐

Both me and Coolu are on same page 😉... this is ManViks story and they will end up together. Its a MU which has immense potential to resolve. DK is just an obstacle we love unlike Malla 🤣🤣🤣

And the MU is written so nicely that 3 months down the line... there is no consensus on who is right and who is wrong. Both sides have done something or other.

I am only 2 para in reading … see that’s where everyone is going wrong… DCP neh kya ek baar mannat koh haath pakadte dekha everyone is assuming he has “feelings” for Mannat.

Did you see the next set of scene… I am very bad at explaining this but he is jealous as a friend that Mannat took Viks shoulder/hand…. They have had 7 years of friendship and trust on each other the man can’t get tad bit mad that she went to hold onto Vik…

think of it nah… if I have (and I have) a friend who is so close suddenly he or she goes to someone to share ….the situation is such

Maybe Mukta is not trying to show the depth I am seeing maybe yes they will overnight flip him like they have done to all characters until it’s done and I actually hear from him say it I won’t agree that he is thinking of more than a friend here.

I completely understand where you are coming from in our culture too jeth is essentially a brother. Infact a very pure bond where you as a newly wed person in the family look at jeth who is your elder brother who would protect you…. In a way that you can share so many of your thoughts and fun moments that sometimes you don’t share with your husband … it’s a very special bond!

That’s what I am seeing still in DCP and Mannat… they share that bond …. So again I think we all do lot of assumptions before the makers even show it. He has never said oh I love Mannat… he has said he loves to see the respect Mannat has him.
the other day when Vikrant said no one can take my place in Mannat’s life…. DCP kah monologue was sahi hai no one is ever going to take his place.

I don’t know how to explain it … all I can say is we will cross that bridge when they actually show a scene where he is possessed by Mannats love .. at this time I don’t see it that way!

Malla and Y have done so many things when they don’t even love Vik …. They are the ones who are creeps after Viks money…

Moor, your parallels do make sense, only issue is whether they are also keeping these parallels in mind or not? Looks like we build up something but they take another route.

At this point, I 70% think DK will turn negative. Even if he is going to be shruthi paa after the leap. He might realize his mistakes in the last moment and try to save manvik, but ends up saving Dua.

DK has no legal rights on Dua. He cant claim the territory just like that. So only way to keep Dua is to get Mannat. And only way to get Mannat to keep building so many MUs between them. He might abstruct RoTu from telling the truth and adding fire to ManVik's MUs. But yeah Mannat doesnt see him like that, but if Dua asks for it, she might consider. Ifff she starts hating Vik due to MUs.

As part of Vik's MU, he might think Mannat has grown to be DK or his brother is also loving Mannat, so he will sacrifice Mannat and Dua both to DK. This can be his redemption also. But DK will realize his mistakes and dies while saving Dua when vamps attempt murder on the girl.

These plots will not have any parallels and falls into the template of mannat right?

Why do you think they wanted to show parallels? If they are, there will be dialogues or monologues making the comparisons. IMO.

Okay my friend I read the remaining … sorry I feel you have lot of “if” and “makers might” …. When we all know if Manit can pull of a jealous territorial alliance than yes makers will use him…. That’s what ITV TRP does. At that time it will really be credit to Manit!

At this time I still absolutely don’t see that DCP is in “love” with Mannat or expressing his feelings in such a way….. i would have to see a lot more upcoming episodes where DCP clearly states that he has fallen head over heels.

Vish is also trying but DCP is not Vik. DCP is not falling for her trap. You may want him to because the entire world wants that he becomes a negative person. Before even the makers ever showed anything everyone has made up their mind that he will turn negative it will be a triangle he will die …. I am sorry but all theories.

I will only believe it when they actually show it and that day I won’t try to defend.

Like seriously why does the “hero” become hero only when rest of the characters go worse than him … so he is at 0 instead of lifting him up you all want to bring other male characters to -100…. What logic does that serve.

Why is no one talking about that maybe the brothers both will finally join hands and bring Mannat the justice she needs…. yeah they can weave such plots but I dont think so they will. did you read my above post in reply to moor. They will make him negative because it fits their template, not because vik will be better than him. He will turn negative to move the story forward. . I feel like vik doesnt have to do anything. The vamps and newly turned villain will fall on their faces after causing multiple obstacles and tada...one day manvik will unite! May be DK will turn back positive in the end.

I am thinking Arzoo will send RoTu to heavens too! Otherwise, they will be forced to reveal Dua's truth if they are around.
