But stampede can happen anywhere in the world!

It's nothing to do with any country.

At least, we shouldn't support this unnecessary topic to fuel further hatred towards eachother.

Toronto me tou abhi it's 2:41 pm and kal se 1 hr clock time yaha extend hojyga. Already till last month 5 tak darkness start hojti thi but now it's getting better. Excessive snowy days with prolonged darkness really affect day to day activities.

But UK has it's own charm. I really like London, specifically the shopping and food there!

I don’t remember expressing my sympathies for the tyrant who died.

US has plenty of social evils happening right in its midst — right from illegally importing drugs, selling arms, big people supporting a bloody pedophile — Can we go bomb Mexico / US because they are wrong? Nope. Only US is allowed to do that!

Okay, so Trump & Netanyahu wanted world peace, hence took out Ayotollah. They should have cleared their troops from there after that right ? What’s the point of saying they’ll continue the war & keep going ? Is bombing civilians also a part of this great “strategy” ?

The reason of this war wasn’t to wipe out the so called supreme leader from the face of the earth. It was because Iran refused to bow to their will & shut down their nuclear production. If you want to believe otherwise, I have nothing else to say.

I do not understand the purpose of your reply as every thing you said is completely irrelevant and redundant. Where did I say I believe USA and Isreal are doing it for World peace ? Why'd they think of the world before thinking of themselves ?

Did you even read my post that you quoted where I said exactly that .Frankly speaking, I'm getting exhausted atp repeatedly saying the same thing 😴.

If USA was working solely for World peace it wouldn't have supported the terrorist country Pakistan during Operation Sindhur and given them aids , knowing well those money , International money will go to feed their terrorism activities. After all, that is Pakistan's sole contribution to the world.

Isreal is fighting a war of survival as it fights militant groups from inside and outside like Hamas and Hezebullah . They're not fighting for World peace but they're definitely fighting against forces that stands against World peace. Countries surrounding Isreal do not believe Isreal and it's countrymen have any right to exist.

Iran can never be allowed to have nuclear plants. It supports multiple militants groups and the whole purpose of those groups is to create mayhem around the world , spread Islam , destroy all other faith and cultures , ethnically cleanse all other civilizations and propagate their holy war through terrorism, invasion , disruption reproduction, genocide , coercion , forced conversion and any other means.

So Iran having nuclear power means all Islamic terrorist groups having free access to Nuclear powers because they'd get their supply directly from Iran and every other support. And then all bets are off ! No country will be safe other than the allies of the holy war. Blood bath is nothing ! These militant forces will destroy the fabric of the free world and take us back to the darkness of barbaric times , the way we saw they did in Iran and Afghanistan . The way they always do. World will drown in blood.

It is crucial for World peace that these evil forces must be neutralized before that happens. So I support these measures whole heartedly .

New here, just going to express my thoughts on this recent war.

IMO, USA has its own ambitions behind this war, such as controlling oil & energy resources and gradually weakening china by targeting its allies one by one, first venezuela, now Iran and next is cuba. Their goals are quite open. They are not fighting for anyone’s freedom but for their own self interests (imean they rarely fight for anyone else's freedom at any point of history).

Israel, on the other hand, is fighting for its existence. If they dont act first, they believe they could be wiped out. As for why other GCC countries are getting involved, it is mainly because saudi and the iranian regime are like eternal enemies. For saudi, the iranian regime is an existential threat (shia vs sunni angle).

So in reality, everyone has their own self interests. Their primary goals are driven by those interests. However, one good outcome of this conflict is that the iranian people might finally gain the long overdue freedom they deserve. Thousands of sacrifices have been made by them over the years. Out of everyone involved, i feel the most sympathy and sadness for the iranian people. So evn if other powers are acting for their own interests, a positive outcome could still be the freedom of the iranian people.

Many people also wonder what will happen after the war. The USA and israel might leave iran on its own??(which will happen eventually) or iran might end up like afghan, syria or iraq. Yes, that is one possible scenario. But imo iranian people are more educated, intelligent and socially advanced compared to some of those countries. They are not backward and i think they have the potential to emerge from this situation stronger.

Even if iran becomes somewhat of a vassal state of the USA, it might end up more like south korea or japan. So even if the USA is acting out of its own interests, it could still become a win win situation for the Iranian people.

Persia has such a long and rich history and whenever i see the condition of today’s iran, i feel bad for them. Zoroastrianism and Hinduism are like sister religions and share deep historical roots. I truly hope things will work out for iran and its people. More power to them.

Well said..

I dont think usa has it in him to turn iran into another Syria or Iraq or Afghanistan..they cant afford to "invade" iran ..if they do itll be suicidal ..I only feel sympathy for the Iranians but their regime had it coming ..their leaders dont care for their lives , they care for the "Islamist revolution " which they're trying to protect..on the other hand there's israel who is fighting against terror & against people who want to erase their existence..years of conflict has shaped into this war ..

My question is why dont they recognize israel ? Why this Palestine conflict when both countries could've existed peacefully ? Whose ancestors were on whose land and who invaded whom, who cares ? Live in the present.

What's our concern ? Our concern is that we face the same situation in j& k ..we have been fighting terrorism since the last 5 decades & clearly , neither Israel's strategy really works nor ours ... israels strategy is to reply them in their language ..ours is appeasement politics & peace talks..there also india is accused of "oppressing" the minorities which is laughable bec largest percentage of minorities are in india , prospering & living fearlessly....

Let's see if anything changes with this war..lots of complexities involved..

I agree , usa always works out of self interest & this time itll backfire big time ...bhaad mei jaaye , its time all the countries unite against the big bully ..

@red: They dont recognize israel because their agendas are different and their religion and its priorities are quite different on their own. Their dangerous goals are what unite them within their community, and those goals act as their driving force.

Israel’s and india’s situations are somewhat similar but very different in terms of their existence. Israel is a very small country, if they give up, they could be wiped out in no time. For india, however, only a small part of its territory is in question (POK). Even if india were to give up on that issue, the country could still survive and thrive for a long time, probably even longer than our neighbouring country could exist for the next few decades.

However, for india the problem is that if it gives up one inch of land, the neighbor will ask for another ten inches. So this issue is not an immediate existential threat but it is still something india should not take lightly. That is why it is unfolding at a slower pace, unlike the israel-palestine conflict, which is a fast paced situation. For israel, it is an existential threat happening in real time.

It is debatable why they cannot live in peace, because one side is defending while the other is in attack mode. The defender has no option but to secure its safety without taking risks for its own people, whereas for the attacker, their own ideology is what prevents them from living peacefully.

@blue: Coming to why strategy is not working for either india or israel, then india’s approach is also very different from israel’s. India’s strategy is not aimed at immediate war. Instead, it focuses on keeping the region stable while simultaneously developing the nation to a point where no one can bully it. As the economy becomes stronger, these problems may start disappearing one by one as the nation focuses more on development. At the same time, india tries to defend its interests in J&K and not give up on the occupied land.

For israel, however, their actual large scale war effectively began just 3-4 yrs ago. Yes, there had been fighting for many years but Oct 7 was the real turning point for them. Their strategy will take time to work, it will not produce immediate results. It may take years or even a decade or two. But they are fracturing their enemies one by one and imo it is working well in their favor.

@green: USA can be seen as a big bully but its also true that almost every nation depends on them in some way, evn china. Because of this, no one is willing to confront them directly unless they become more self reliant, which is very difficult in the current global system. China has been strengthening itself for decades for this very goal. India realized this perhaps 20 yrs later but it is now on the same path. Our progress is slower because democracy and the complexity of the country do not allow for a very fast pace, but we are still moving in that direction which china currently leads.
