Like @sadiltl said.. watching today's episode made me think that people might shift their likings towards dk-mannat ....today too dhairya confronted vishaka as to how families stand by each other, and when there are pure intentions people find ways to support each other, trust each other..honeslty here I felt they were pointing out both manvik flaws in relationship....though majorly vik is the one relatively more problematic in their relationship but mannat too was not able to stand by her love by not being able to support and prioritize vik at time when he was in lowest phase of life when he got to know birth truth.....as I said even though vik was jailing neetu and she needed support too but neetu and ronnie has each other, vik had no one...instead of trying to help neetu who already had ronnie, mannt should have been on vik's side...and then vik mostly has failed even more by not standing by his love by not trusting her....
going ahead with episode dhairya also stopped vishaka from CA mannat... This is the treatment usually ML gets.. If they are building dhairya's character with so much care, why can't they put same efforts for their ML, instead they are actually degrading him even more, this shows it's not even coincidental, it's intentional attempt to show striking contrast between both of them, this is where one doubts if they are going DM way..
Honestly with the way things are proceeding if it were in real life there is still scope for redemption for vikrant as a person and scope for mannat to forgive vikrant, but should she go back?, if it were in real life vik might be redeemable as person but manvik as couple are irredeemable.. No matter how much one changes when the past is so painful it's better to move on graceful by being in each other's good will...
But this is fiction, if it were real life the vik they presented initially wouldn't have behaved this way..they have made him a bait for drama.....and honestly I try to avoid giving attention to writing and try to understand from story point of view whether it's good or harsh....but since past few days the glaring issues in writing are hard to ignore...I know even in real life we often misjudge people and their true self might be revealed later but I think the way makers have fliped vik's character graph it can't be taken as even as misjudgement as it goes against his core character traits.. becauss once you know someone, you can figure out their core character traits in few weeks... the small nuance traits can be miss judged, but core traits can't be missed that easily...
So yes all times before wedding day highs or lows before wedding vik was within his character graph.. and on wedding day he went way out of his character graph by doing below the belt things.. it's was particularly established that he has anger issues but even in anger, emotions he doesn't cross line..
But on wedding day what all he did though out of character can be understood that he did it in intense trauma where he lost himself, he lost his identity, so he don't know who is or who the people surrounding him are, so he acted on mere impulse..
But what all they are making him do post leap is against his core character traits and honestly against logic too..him saying things in anger, pain, trauma is fine but there is limit to it he is coming across as arrogant, insensitive which is against his core character...intially he was presented to be humble and with no arrogance , empathetic, respectful and his major flaw was anger issues but presented it as even though he does mistakes in anger his compassion makes him understand his limits..
So yes considering its fiction where characters are broken and remade for drama purpose, and how vik is made to do things against his core character traits,I still hope they give redemption track for vikrant and redeem both vikrant as person and manvik as relationship... I know vik is major one who is problematic in relationship but mannat too has to learn about priorities...
But the issue I find it difficult to see the reason for is the purposeful and intentional drawing of contrast with dk..by making vik do things against his character traits, I intially thought it could be for drama... But sometimes I flatter in my beliefs in this
But on a positive note I feel they consider this as a story pivot point, just the day vik-yash relationship is solidified with engagement, they are also solidifying mannat-dk bond with this trust, understanding.. This way suspence is built up, but eventually they might steer towards manvik, I guess ...but I wonder how they are gonna justify manvik together over the other angle when they are laying such strong foundation for other angle.. Vik has big mountain to climb, he still might be able to regain his position in mannat's life.. but how will he regain his BDB tag?
