exactly this is the problem. Maira and Mukti are new faces with good personalities but ultimately story is only revolving around Armaan and Abhira, their hit and misses, past conflicts and setting up of their future reunion. Fatigue has been set up in Audience by seeing their story and faces. DKP and star should have gotten hint about Audience tiredness and lack of interest in abhimaan when they did their reunion after geetu exit but trp plummeted.

This leap is much more balanced when compared to last leap from character's pov perspectives.. But dkp's penchant for triggering scenes and dialogues remain that add nothing to the story, and only purpose is to create negative hype.. And i dont know if the notion that trp audience wont remember such details after few episodes is true.. Especially when the pattern is repetitive..

DKP thrives on this and they do it intentionally as well. TV audience might not remember but social media viewers do Screenplay and execution this leap could have been much more toned down if base was misunderstanding but as we know Armaan is DKP’s FAVORITE character so aise kaise usse normal rakhenge

My point was about the trp audience.. Online hype is needed, but at the end trp is what matters more and maintaining the connect for trp audience is important.. And for almost all itv shows especially for a show like rishta the trp audience will be viewing it from the FL perspective.. The idea of such scenes is for them to feel bucket loads of sympathy for the FL , but do not make sense if dkp is keeping the focus on Armaan- Abhira ...especially when the show has not recovered from the debacle of last leap..

Again as we know, they don’t know to keep it subtle and make it balanced from both sides and as you said, OTT was required to give FL sympathy else yesterday’s scenes didn’t make sense if they just wanted to keep it as a leap based on misunderstandings Both of them didn’t trust each other enough to talk before fighting for custody

@bold - they should just chuck it this time around and not reunite them, it doesn’t make sense They had to show the leap premise which they did in last 3 episodes, now focus will shift on the gals, their school, Abhira-Maira reunion and hopefully Meher exposure!

Agree.. Armaan - Abhira reunion is not important if they are all set for gen leap, Maira- Abhira reunion is.. If Poddars are the FL family for next gen, both Maira and Vani will end up with them.. Armaan can be cliffed, Abhira can have few years with both the girls..

Yes, their offscreen friendship is good irrespective of their solo fans not being in agreement of each other’s camaraderie 😆

@bold - They still are but the popularity has come down now, thanks to DKP’s path breaking writing

I really hope they don’t reunite this time, may be will clear all misunderstandings and before reunion will cliff both or atleast Armaan Meher’s truth might get exposed, Vani/Mukti might also regain her memory, she will be brought back to Poddar house and everyone will accept her. As you said, it will be good if they show Abhira raising both the girls for few years or may till start of next Gen

There will be some conflict between both the girls in next gen also other than the default triangle.. Vani can blame Armaan for her mother's death and by extension Maira .. Or/And Maira can have the burden of guilt for what happened.. And if Abhira's cliffng is for saving one of the girls, that will add to the conflict..

I think Vidya already found it and so she went ahead with creating the misunderstanding. I also think, Krish is also part of her plan this time and they would have emotionally manipulated Kajal also to stay quiet so that they will not lose Poddar firm. Yesterday’s scene also had only Vidya, Sanjay and Krish in it when Abhira came after a yr.

Another possibility might be Meher threatening Vidya to hide the truth and keep Abhira,Vani away but this seems unlikely as Vidya was shown to be fond of Meher and considers her “ghar ki bacchi”

I am not sure if they will show more flashbacks about Abhira’s whereabouts and why she didn’t come to see Maira in that one year ?
