Money making... and cheap demeaning of other 'universes' (no intelligence needed to suppose which one is meant)... curious how the second part will be judged a f t e r the release. (To Ambani, 150 cr are peanuts... he anyways wants to rule the Indian OTT market)

What a bunch of opportunists these Ambani's - if this piece of news about them trying to takeover the promotions, was true...Weren't these the same people who didn't even let the movie complete which forced Aditya and Ranveer to shell money from their own pockets as there was still about 80 days of shoot left by then...Then they were against the movie being released in 2 parts....They didn't promote the movie...Basically they have shown distrust and lack of faith in Aditya's capability as a director...But now that the movie got a thunderous response, they want a piece of the pie...Nice!

Maybe, you're right, but Jio Studios (the main producer and also distributor) belongs to the Ambanis (Mukesh), so, they have all the right to make a great event in the cultural centre they built for such occasions.

That's why I didn't say anything about their rights... I am just pointing at the obvious of them being the bandwagoners...

I am not sure OTT should be with JIo - or is this only in India? Netflix is international. Here in West not many know about 'Jio' as OTT platform. Will us Westerners be able to watch it on OTT if we don't have JIO?

Maybe Dhurandar has become a 'national treasure' and Ambani wants to have the hold about it. I neither get Jio OTT here in Germany, so if my friends (living in a big city with ample possibilities to watch Indian movies) can tell me positive things about their impressions, I'll try the theatre... anyways, Dhurandhar is a movie for the 'darkness' of a theatre. (I don't wonder about the lesser quality of a Netflix viewing ...who would watch this movie with a projector in a dark room... with all the grittyness, any light and small screen is a let-down)
