Ash Gardner: We were actually planning to bat, but had a feeling we might end up bowling, so it’s worked out nicely for us. the trend exists for a reason, but we’re comfortable challenging it. We want to take the Powerplay on, be aggressive, and we’ve got a really well-balanced lineup. It’s about starting well and then using our firepower through the middle and late order. Nothing changes for us tonight. Looks very similar to the last couple of wickets, maybe a bit more live grass. Assess conditions quickly and adapt on the run. Same team as the last time.

Jemimah Rodrigues: We would like to bowl first. It looks like a fresh surface. Any target feels chaseable, and with the dew coming in, the pitch should get a little better under lights.
