So they’re gonna reverse Ak and Aaru. I’m skeptical about this. Makers tried showing Ab as Aaru (not imo but used see edits) but badly failed. Aaru worked coz despite all the selfishness, her actions made sense coz Goenkas were sh*tty parents. They did made her and Sirat feel inferior. Also Ak’s selective mahanta used to make her look like a hypocrite. But here Maira has an entire family, her parents dotting over her. So why’ll audience like or connect with her if she grows up being an arrogant brat. It doesn’t make sense to me. If despite all the discriminations Vani can grow up to be a calm girl why not Maira?https://www.youtube.com/live/ScucIXqH7sE
I watched this live. Basically he is saying that there will be difference between Grown up Maira and Vani. Maira will be perceived as arrogant, haughty, nakchadi while Vani will be calm and sober. There will be difference in their styling too.
What I think is that makers are going in opposite direction. Make the female lead attitude wali and more modern while parallel lead will be definition of what an ideal female lead should be. Maira might get married in traditional family while the family expectations matches that of conservative Vani. Remember Sasural genda phool Suhaana who adapted into her in-laws family and family accepted her too. Maira journey might be like that. Basically a reverse of Imlie and jhanak type stories.
