Watched Mrs Deshpande on OTT. Funny part is throughout the episodes I just couldn't stop flashback to the Madhuri Dixit of the 80 s . Hence did not actually enjoy the character of Mrs Deshpande. It appeared Un-realistic on two counts There are many glaring loop holes . And secondly ,it is difficult to imagine your fav actor after many years / decades in another role .

The character could have been developed into a spine chilling Dr Hannibal Lecter of " silence of the lambs " ... But One just cannot breathe Madhuri into the role .. Especially those of the 1980 s who have been brought up watching "Ek Do teen...

माधुरी यात दिसली ही फार विचीत्र आहे.

गाल असे मोठे मोठे, आणि त्यामुळे डोळे एकदम बारीक.

मलाही ती यात अजिबात नाही आवडली.

Chilling च्या नादात अगदीच कोरडे करून टाकलंय तिला.

चांदेकर भाऊ मला 'आवडतो' या category मधे कधीच नव्हता. त्यामुळे त्याच्या जागी दुसरा कोणी असता, तरी चालला असता.

When you think of creating a psycho character like Dr hannibal Lecter , I genuinely think it is not possible in India or this part of the sub continent ... Firstly our audience simply won't take to cannibal being enacted on screen ... Secondly for an Indian to get under the skin of a character like " buffalo bill " or " Dr Lecter " itself will be a severe mismatch ...

Facial expressions, like the snarl , the growl etc have to be pitch perfect to generate the chill factor . I think Ashutosh Rana came a close second in his movie in which he has acted as a postman 😀

Anyways ,pan ase singers na roles mIlale tar apalya marathi kalkaranch kai hoanar karan te gau shakanar nahit na.
