Vikrant by coming late for the funeral that too with his mother tagging along. A mother who leveled charges that DK attacked her for Mannats sake which Vikrant readily believed and beat him up had hurt DK emotionally. Rotu. Shalini. gagan and DK are witness to the stunt of Malla and rhe angst it caused to Mannat.

Right from the time Mannats pregnancy was revealed, DK worries for Mannat and her unborn child. Just as he stepped up to care for Rotu in his bid to support Mannat ue asks for the transfer. They have to create a semblance of being a family so that CA of Mannat and legitimacy of Dua does not come up.

DK does all that a doting parent would do for his daughter as he doesn't want the child to experience the void that the adults were experiencing. He has ensured that by being Duas confidant....her Partner in crime he has guaranteed a happy secure childhood for Dua that seems normal in her eyes and that of the society around quite unlike list where rat made his bhabi as Biwi.

Did they goof up and is this a foreshadowing?

I watched Bunty Dua scene again and she calls Neetu Dadi... but Ronnie is Nanu...

I guess its a fumble from Yami. She must be still getting used to proper relations, even today's papa also seemed fumble to me from Yami and Manit both. Yesterday mannat specifically mentioned that Dua herself started calling Dhairya "baba". The cast must be still getting used to the new names.

DK was praising her features and nature... saying she is cute and adorable etc... and then he pulls her cheeks and says Papa ne diya... which is obviously not him but Vik... so if DK is Baba then Vik is Papa

For now I am just waiting for Vikrant Dua meet and their interactions.....I so so want to see Addy with Yami and him playing a father to her....

This is true though. I also felt he meant Vikrant. This whole equation between DK and the Saluja family...

Let me clarify, i am still thinking about what DK has done to mend relationships, in the past 7 years? As of now, acc to what they have shown, he hasn't. In the dance with Dua and Mannat, not once did I feel his pull towards Mannat. He is extremely attached to Dua.

Should he have tried to talk with Vikrant in the past few years, for Dua's sake, for Neetu's sake? yes. Did he try? We don't know yet.

He could become a tragic figure. If you think about him, his entire childhood, he spent taking on the role of protecting his mother against the trauma of losing her younger child, husband. He chose this career to look for his Aman. When he found him, and understood the truth of his mother, he was willing to walk away, he was willing to leave his own feelings for Aman, and walk away for Vikrant's well being.

Now, when I watched today, once again, he is protecting his brother's parents, wife, child for Vikrant. He could also be doing it to assuage the guilt of his mother having created this whole horrible situation.

Anyway, his character can go any way the writers want it too. But I felt something tragic from him today. Always taking care of someone for Vikrant's sake, for Aman's sake.

Girls, we all know that Manvik face-off will happen soon, I have been thinking about few things… Pre-leap, Vik assumed that Mannat and DK getting married. Post-leap after seeing them with Dua, this MU will only deepen for him. At the same time, Mannat will see Vik with Yashika and Yuvi and end up MU him as well. The difference here is Mannat is not in a relationship with DK, nor does she share any kind of romantic connection with him. In contrast, Vik may not love Yashika, but he is in a relationship with her and has allowed her into his personal and physical space. In that process, Dua might also see him with another woman and equate Vik–Yashika with Mannat–DK, further confusing her later. During the pan-masala wedding, Mannat eventually learned it was fake, but in Yashika’s case Vik himself accepted her as his GF. I know Mannat will be emotional, believing that Vik has truly moved on and now has someone else in his life. And when Vik will learns the truth, will he be able to accept that he wasn’t faithful and that the woman he loved always loved only him and never allowed anyone into her close proximity, while he did? There are just too many layers and emotions involved in this face-off equation just trying to put thoughts together…

I am eagerly waiting for Dua Vikku scenes to solidify my theory ... how their interaction and Dua Yuvi pans out would confirm my suspicions.

Vikku ko bachate hai ye log hamesha... what if he doesnt MU Mannat DK relationship at all? ... long shot but ho sakta hai.

The last convo ManVik had is Mannat clearly telling him the allegations are disgusting. Thats what he recalled in the last scene of leap.

Now he is most probably meeting Dua alone (or without knowing Mannat is her mom)... as per promo he finds similarities with Mannat.... and there is a what if scenario being shot...

I am wondering if Vik will see the similarity in Mannat Dua and himself and wonder if Dua could be his child. Later when he meets Mannat (or RoTu/DK) or gets to know about her from Dua... will he realize it indeed could be his child? This is also because of the latest spoiler which says he cries after meeting an unconscious Mannat.

They dont actually need Vik accepting any relationship with Y... that can be through Yuvi as Yuvi wont prefer Mannat instead of Y... neither will Malla who might influence Yuvi. Yuvi is bonded to Y and not Malla and wont like Mannat for her poverty and discipline.

So Vik can be torn between the two ladies and their children without an MU situation. Like you pointed out, how would Vik accept Dua without realizing what went wrong and making amends and will the SM members let him do that so easily?

Also Vik's tougher choice would be between the kids rather than the ladies. He cant have both kids ... Ronnies words would be true if he has to let go of Yuvi for some reason.
