They don’t know the situation and they don’t care for the details of the situation at all at this point either. For them the truth is that Mihir cheated on Tulsi again.
He may not have physically committed infidelity but the fact that he’s able to believe that he cheated on her himself is not something that works for anyone. It means he does know at some point his friendship with Noyna had crossed a territory that it should never have crossed at all.
Hemant hasn’t even so far stated how he had warned Mihir after the incident in the US so far: so it’s not like Mihir didn’t have any idea of Noyna’s feelings or intentions. He had his own brother being blunt and honest with him, warning him to put some distance between himself and Noyna.
So even if at some point post leap in the future they do show that Mihir never slept with Noyna and fainted before things could happen, it wouldn’t change much. Because things did get to that point in the first place. He did believe strangers over his wife, he did allow his anger to cloud his judgment and his thoughts so much that he strayed even if only emotionally towards another woman. He made space for a third person in his marriage out of spite and ego. He repeatedly put down his wife only to find out she had been right all along but he was too busy being egotistical to listen to her.
The emotional damage he did to Tulsi and by extension his family will still not heal. In her case he reopened wounds she had managed to cover well, even if it wouldn’t ever heal completely no matter what.
So technically Mihir being a victim of Noyna’s manipulation here wouldn’t discount his own role in hurting Tulsi. He allowed things to reach a point where they shouldn’t have ever gotten, at this age when he should know better courtesy of experience and maturity expected of him at this age.
The pain, the humiliation, the mortification of going through this all over again now as a saas, as a woman with adult grandchildren of her own old enough to be married… the agony is unimaginable.
Mihir will be of course forgiven and come out as innocent in the physical aspect of this cheating eventually as we all suspect; but the emotional damage and aspect is never going to go away.
