Dhurandhar has been watched...FINALLY!!. Don't remember the last time a movie stayed with for so long after it ended. Probably was Bahubali The Beginning. JUst like that film marked a new era of movies for Indian cinema, so will Dhurandhar. All these bullshit OTT, fake, glamorous spy movies are gonna get thrown out of the window. I legit have no complaints about the movie, every scene, every music note, every expression from all the actors was absolutely perfect.

It was Ranveer's show all the way, without a doubt. He carries the film. We get immersed in the universe through him, see the characters through his eyes. All the people saying Akshay stole his thunder have to be on some kind of crack. Just coz he got the flashy entrances and the groovy soundtracks, people are elevating him. But I am proud of Ranveer for choosing this character that remains in the shadows, builds up the plot and will explode in the next part.

Everyone has acted brilliantly. More than Akshay I liked his brother's screen presence to be honest. Uzair Baloch should set be more antagonising in the next part. Actor is a cutiee.

Hats off to Aditya Dhar for his vision and conviction. This success belongs to him more than anyone else.

The hallmark of a true spy, and more importantly, a successful one and an alive one is to blend so effortlessly into the background that people don’t even notice them and that’s exactly what Ranveer is doing here as Hamza. The only people making fun of Ranveer’s character as being reduced to an extra in his own movie are the ones who probably wanted a stupid story where his character was shown as a flamboyant, devil may care stupid stuntman because that’s all they know and can handle.

Frankly the possibility of Hamza staying as Hamza is there but how long he lives in a place like that, particularly in the kind of world he’s involved in is a different question altogether. He can get killed someday not because he’s revealed as a spy but because he’s made enemies in a city that has gangs, in a place where power is the most valuable commodity there is. But there’s bound to be somewhere he slips that leads to his cover being blown, after all, he’s only human and the story will not have higher stakes if his cover isn’t blown. The question is when, where, how and more importantly in front of whom in what manner.

Even if Yalina agrees to leave Pakistan with him to settle in India or another country altogether where they are both made to change their identities to avoid getting killed, there’s always going to be danger lurking over their heads as terrorist networks all over the world have a way of corresponding and sharing intel as well as eliminating any people they perceive as threats, or worse than that - traitors, which these two would be perceived as even if Yalina literally has nothing to do with anything of this.

Even if they were both to be safely brought to India where they could be protected by Sanyal and his people, even helped to set up their lives from scratch, the situation doesn’t change when it comes to their history. She is bound to always feel like he used her and probably faked his love for her in some corner of her mind no matter what, even if he proves he truly loves her and never deceived or used her. The foundation of their relationship will forever remain etched in lies as his very identity was a lie. She may never believe him completely regarding anything, even things she hears and sees herself because trust is gonna be the first casualty of their relationship once his cover is blown.

Any relationship without trust is doomed to fail even if physically they manage to make it to a safe undisclosed location and change their identities as well with all the official help that they need and can get. No one can help them in this aspect no matter what. So one way or another they’ll get separated I think, the question remains how and when.

If the director wants to give the movie an open end, he can leave Hamza’s life in ambiguity….and if he wants to extend Sara’s character, he can do the same with her…Their relationship has no future either way…..Indeed the trust will be broken unless Hamza confesses to her before she finds out but that ain’t happening either because he would never betray his mission and country for his personal feelings….

You think he will become the main guy or will he operate from the shadows of Uzair? Uzair Baloch is currently in jail accused of espionage and betraying the country. I think Hamza’s cover will indeed be blown but he will simply transfer the blame to Uzair and get away with it?

I think the movie will pick up on the real Uzair being in jail and his onscreen counterpart will serve a similar fate. He will be framed as the spy by Hamza probably with the help of Alaam and more importantly his Sasurji remember the man is a politician so he can surely do whatever it takes to protect his daughter, so he may do this for her sake even if he doesn’t give two hoots about Hamza as his SIL.

We know there’s a leaked pic of Ranveer in a Sardar’s turban from the sets, it’s very much possible that this is from when he’s trying to escape from Pakistan or probably sneak into some high profile Khalistani territory or something.

His end will probably be either dying or leading a life where he’s proud of having served his country but on a personal level he’s also a broken, lonely man who has lost everyone he’s loved ever in his life be it his parents or his wife and probably kid/s too. The ending cannot be glorious as if they happily walk away into a sunset together hand in hand. People who live these kinds of lives, dual lives to be specific where they see and do all sorts of things are haunted in their minds by the ghosts of their past. The price they pay for serving a higher purpose is to be devastated on an individual level in every sphere of their personal life.

Jaskirat is either gonna die a hero serving his country even if no one besides a few know of his services and sacrifices; or he will end up a lonely, broken man who will have no one to call his own but will never complain about his fate because he knows he has been able to do something meaningful with his life even if he’s paid a price for it because it was worth it if it meant protecting his homeland and his people from those who seek to harm them.

The first movie started with a shloka from Gita and ended with a shloka from the Upanishads, wouldn’t surprise me if they do it again in part 2 as well; perhaps flipping the order - begin with an Upanishad Shloka and end with one from Gita.

Just came back from watching the movie . Amazing movie with a stellar cast . Everyone was amazing in their respective roles . Just waiting for part 2 now . So proud of ranveer who keeps taking risks in terms of the scripts and characters he chooses .Let the PR games continue LOL but janta knows all , the kind of love he is getting for playing this role is pretty evident .

The reels have helped the film,Akshaye Khanna,and especially Ranveer Singh.Not only the boxoffice returns,public watched the performances more carefully than they would normally have done.Every one of the super talented cast deserved that.They are basking in the glory.Madhavan,who has seen it all before,with RDB,3 idiots and other great films ..sounded triumphant,in fact boastful about the film...and Why not?

So 2nd Monday morning is significantly higher than the first
