No matter who wins the trophy this time, I will not be disappointed because each of the remaining 5 contestants are much better than past non-deserving winners like MC Stan or Juhi Parmar. All of these contestants have had their own share of struggles in life and there are a few good things one can say about each of them. All of them have different talents/skillsets and each one of them is striving to do better in their chosen career. More than the trophy, I wish the following for these contestants:
1. Amaal - Going forward, he should be provided good opportunities as a composer but more importantly as a singer, because he has a very melodious, soulful voice and he deserves to be a well-renowned playback singer. One of the effective ways for him to escape the demons of his past is for him to get his due share of recognition.
2. Tanya - Hopefully, she'll get success in Indian TV and actually become so rich that she won't have to lie about money any more. More so, I wish that Tanya gets so much adoration that she stops treating money as the only way to get external respect and therefore stops giving it so much importance in her life.
3. Pranit - Now that he has become popular, he should get more stand-up gigs, perhaps even on television/OTT so that he can provide his parents all sorts of luxuries and comfort.
4. Gaurav - I don't wish to bring in controversy by saying this -- it is just my sincere hope that within the next 2-3 years, Gaurav is able to become a father whether through natural means or surrogacy or adoption. The kind of yearning he has for a child, he deserves to be able to play with his own kid !
5.Farhana - Apart from just good career opportunities, Farhana needs to have someone in her life who showers her with love, affection and the kind of protective instinct that she has missed all her life.
In fact, this is one thing that I wish even for Malti. It is very clear that she has yearned for attention and love from her parents since childhood. She deserves to have someone in her life who understands her and gives her the importance and affection she deserves.
