After the festival the Maan and Annie go back to Mumbai....

Dadi misses her family, specially Maan, her favourite potha....

She will have to wait till their summer holidays when Savithriji and her husband go to stay with their grandchildren in Mumbai....

Geet has to wait till the winter holidays when Maan will be coming back....

Meanwhile Dadima is busy with her daughter's (Ranno) family....

Ranno visits Dadi in the mornings while Geet entertains her in the evenings after school.....

Geet is happy to be Dadi's princess at Delhi....

Most of the time Geet has her dinner at the Khurana Mansion itself, When Ranno cooks dadaji's favourite Shahi Paneer or pinde chole kulche she brings it to KM...

Sometimes Dadi asks Nakul to cook Geet's favourite lacha paratha or chur chur naan and sends them to the Handa house...

At times Geet sleeps with her Dadi itself....b

For summer holidays Geet goes to her Nani's place and also goes to Hoshiarpur to spend time with her Darji....

The winter holidays are the festival times at Hoshiarpur....

Next winter is here in no time....

This time Geet went earlier, Arjun had special classes so Darji came and took Geet with him....

Maan and Annie come to Delhi....

Annie misses her friend Geet..

Maan always likes elder boys company, he is way ahead of his peers, he doesn't want to be treated as Annie's twin brother, he only likes to be the bigger brother....

When he is at Delhi Arjun is his company, the two team up and ignore their sisters completely....

But Annie and Geet never miss their brother's company, they are happy to be left alone, not to be troubled by their brothers...

Dev gives them good company, Lucky and Nandhini are their playmates at Hoshiarpur....b

Ranno leaves to Hoshiarpur in a couple of days along with Arjun....

It’s festival time at Hoshiarpur…

The Handas are getting ready for the gala time….

Madan has some important work and has gone back to Mumbai like always…

Sheetal takes the kids to Hoshiarpur along with Dadi and papaji ….

At Hoshiarpur….

The Khuranas have arrived and they are at their farmhouse….

Senior Khuranaji can’t wait to see his friend Darji…

He gets ready in a minute…

Dadi and Sheetal have to unpack the things and also the kids are feeling hungry….

They were asleep all the way long and now they want to eat….

Sheetal had packed some sandwiches for them…

On the way the lunch box tumbled and the breads have separated….

Maan is very hungry and is waiting for his favourite grilled veg sandwich…..

As soon as Maan sees the plight of his sandwich he gets upset…

How would he eat that gross?

Sheetal tries to reassemble the sandwich bit the slices are broken….

She quickly cuts them into pieces and fries them with those veggies and some desi spices, tops it with some crushed potato chips to make it an innovative crumbled bread bowl( fancy name for bread upma to deceive the kids)….

Maan doesn’t want that….

He pushes the bowl away…

Annie tastes it and likes it ….. it’s actually tastier than the bland sandwich….

The bread is crispier and the veggies turned yummy with the touch of the desi spices….

But Maan won’t touch it….

Maan: I want my sandwich

Sheetal: Maan, there is no more sandwiches, if you want you can eat these or else you can wait till dinner is ready

Dadi: Maan is my best potha, he will eat this now and then wait for dinner, haina?

Maan: no, I don’t want to eat this, it’s not good

Dadi: no beta, just try a bit, it’s very yummy, haina Annie?

Annie: Haan dadi

Maan is still not ready to eat anything that doesn’t look like a proper meal, it looks like something cooked up from leftover food….

Papaji comes….

Maan is still arguing with Sheetal to give him back his sandwich…

Papaji: what’s going on? Why is Maan upset? Just give him what he wants, if he wants laddus then give him that, it’s a lot more healthier than any other meal

Papaji wants his laddus…..

Dadi: app toh kuch nahi jaanthe ji, you always want your laddu, likewise Maan wants his sandwich

Papaji: then give us what we want

Dadi: you don’t even think of coming anywhere near the laddu, your sugar will shoot up if you just look at it, that’s how your body condition is now

Papaji: you don’t know anything about the powers of this Hoshiarpur ki mitti, I always get a new life after placing foot on my magical motherland, I am as strong as I was in my young age

Dadi: you are right, this place has really got some magical powers, even I can feel that

Dadi also gets nostalgic …

Papaji: Sheetal beta, Maan is being cranky because he is hungry, get me the laddus and see what happens

Dadi: I know your tricks ji, no laddus for you

Sheetal: maaji, let us see if it works I just can’t see this boy being adamant like this anymore

Sheetal comes with a plate full of laddus….

Papaji takes one and gives it to Maan….

Maan eats that, it is a proper laddu, that’s fine….

Maan loves his Dadi’s laddus ..

Papaji enjoys one too…

Maan eats another one as he is hungry…..

Papaji: I am going to the Handa house, I will take Maan along so that his mood gets better, you people also need a break, we will leave you alone, come on Maan, let’s go

Maan catches hold of his Dadaji’e hand and goes with him…

Sheetal is relieved a bit....

As they near the Handa home they could see the kids playing....

Arjun is not there, he has gone to the play ground to play kabadi with senior boys...

Geet, Nandhini and Lucky are playing hide and seek alomg with Dev.....

Geet's eyes are tied with a towel, its her turn to find the others....

Geet comes with open hands searching, papaji is very happy to see Geet....

Papaji: Geet puthar dekho hum aagaye Hai

Geet is excited to hear his voice...

She comes running in his direction....

Geet: dadaji dadima aap log aagaye

Geet forgets to open the towel.... she is just coming towards Maan....

Maan remembers this girl, she will trip and fall when she arrives closer and will blame poor Maan even if he helps her.... she is a stupid thankless girl....

As Geet approaches them Maan steps aside and there is a scooter parked ahead behind where Maan was standing...

Geet is about to hit the scooter when her dadaji comes to save her....

Dadaji: hare Geet beta, aayiye

He grabs her and picks her up.....

Maan just keeps watching her, this girl looks good with her eyes closed....

She will not be biased only when she can't see who is actually helping her, haina?

Geet removes the towel to see her dadaji....

Geet: dadajiiiii aap kab aaye?

Dadaji: abhi abhi aarahe hai hum, aathe hi apne pyaari Pari ko dekhne aagaye

Geet smiles and looks around... her smile vanishes looking at Maan instead of her favourite dadi....

Geet can't hide her displeasure....

Geet: dadi nahi aaye?

It sounded more like "ye kyun aaya?" to Maan....

Dadaji: hum toh aaye hai aap se milne, aur aap ko sirf aapki dadi ki padi?

Geet: aap toh Darji se milne aaye hai

Dadaji: Geet ke samne hummari kuch bhi nahi chalthi, aap toh kitne smart ho, aap ne sahi pakda Geet, toh Darji kahan hai?

Darji: hum yahan hai ji, aao aao, aapka hi interzar kar rahe hai

Dadaji: toh chalo Geet, humare dosth toh aagaye, aap apne dosth ke saath millo

Dadaji lets Geet down near Maan...

Geet just keeps staring him...

Maan doesn't expect anything better from that pagal ladhki, wow! What a welcome?

Dev: Geet, Kya Kar rahe ho? Aajao jaldi

Geet runs to join Dev....

Now Maan stares Dev....

Who is this intruder?

Dev looks at Maan...

Dev: tum bhi aana khelne

Maan shows his attitude...: nahi, I don't play with girls

Geet: no one wants to play with you, chalo Dev, hum khelte hai

Dadaji Darji ke saath purane baatein Kar rahe hai, aur Geet apne doston ke sath Khel rahi hai...

Maan toh akhela Kade Kade Geet ko hi dekh raha hai...

Geet ignores Maan totally and is busy playing with Dev....

Ranno comes with chai...she notices Maan..

Ranno: hare Maan, aana beta

Ranno takes Maan inside...

She is making crispy fried samosas...

she gives them first to Maan...

Maan who is actually still hungry eats them happily.... they taste very very delicious....

Ranno takes them to the two friends and calls the kids too...

After a little snacking and staring(Geet and Maan) session...

Ranno: Geet, Maan ko bhi app ke saath khelne le jao

Geet immedately replies...

Geet: Usko khelne nahi aatha

Maan is like, what did you think girl? You don't know who you are messing with....

Ranno: aaise kaise ho saktha? Maan ko sab aatha hai, he is from Mumbai

Ranno supports Maan....

Geet doesn’t like that, if it is Arjun, Ranno will always support Geet, what happened now? Who is this Maan? He is just a visitor, comes once in a year or two, Ranno should support her daughter only na?

Geet gets offended.....

Geet: how would Mumbaikers know about Hoshiarpur games?

Dev catches hold of Geet's hand and takes her with him...

Maan follows them....

Maan: Mumbaikars only play international games like cricket, we don't play kindergarten games

Geet drags Dev, takes the towel from him and ties over Dev's eyes.

Geet: ok, ready, come on Dev

They start playing...

Lucky: catch me Dev bhai

Nandhini: no don't come this way

Geet: come on Dev, I am here

Geet is behind Dev...

Dev turns around and suddenly moves forward and wraps Geet in his arms....

Dev: hey got you Geet

Geet is enjoying it a lot....

Maan thinks that Geet deliberately went towards Dev so that he catches her....

Arjun comes....

Arjun: hai Maan

Maan is happy to see Arjun....

Maan: hey bro what's up?

Arjun: what are you doing with these kids?

Maan: just watching their faltu game

Arjun: come, lets go to the grounds

Maan leaves....

Just like this they meet a couple of more times at Hoshiarpur, then Maan goes to boarding school.....

He doesn't come to Delhi at all, only dadi and Dadaji go meet him at Mumbai when he comes there for the holidays...

Maneet are thus separated....
