Kartik slips into the role of a pampered, slightly overconfident “mama’s boy” who believes he’s irresistible to everyone from Malaika to Urfi. Ananya plays a modern, clear-headed girl who refuses to drift into the casual dating haze and secretly yearns for something old-school. Their first meeting on an international vacation goes downhill fast. He teases her for her beliefs, she finds him insufferable, and every interaction feels like a tiny explosion. A Big Christmas Release for Dharma

The film is directed by Sameer Vidwans, who earlier teamed up with Kartik on Satyaprem Ki Katha. Backed by Dharma Productions and Namah Pictures, the project is produced by Karan Johar, Adar Poonawalla, Apoorva Mehta, Shareen Mantri Kedia, and Kishor Arora. Interestingly, this marks Kartik’s first collaboration with Karan Johar, adding an extra layer of curiosity for fans. Originally planned for Valentine’s Day 2026, the film was pulled forward after the postponement of Alia Bhatt’s Alpha. It will now arrive in cinemas this Christmas, promising a warm, colourful holiday watch.
