Imagine being their kids knowing that their father sleeps with other women n their mothers are just ok with it. God! Such a horrible feeling to even imagine! I can't believe how can they normalise this?

So many women getting abused by their spouse over this issue and they think it’s funny.

I have a family member who caught her husband with another woman in her bed yet compromised and stayed back . Reason , kids and fear of losing shares . smiley36

Trust me if her husband had caught her doing this , physical abuse on her guaranteed and dragged her to court .

why are u including all the women by writing "WE"?

nature (= animals) doesn't know cheating... still there are very different forms of relationships...the problem with the evolution (= humans) are the notion of good & evil/ right & wrong/ allowed & forbidden

"cheating" is wrong, not only when it comes to sex & love...The notion of cheating is a moral one, not a natural one... s*xual attraction is a natural phenomenon, not a moral one... so the question how one views a partner having s*x with someone else depends as much on the individual as on the partnership.

"marriage" is a human concept and not made because of emotions but because of practical/political/financial/moral reasons. India is one of the countries where these reasons are still quite valuable (hence the arranging of marriages).

The notion of "love" is a completely different thing and has nothing to do with any concept made by society. A love marriage certainly is the most precarious one if the emotion "love" is interlinked with moral/practical/financial expectations because these expectations can change love into something one hadn't imagined before.

I generally think that "expectations" have a negative impact. Kajol and Twinkle don't seem to expect fidelity anymore from their husbands...their moral concept has changed into something similar to an arranged marriage (imo)...

In Vedic rituals, only one wife and one husband is mentioned. All marriage-related rituals are monogamy-centric.

On topic, open marriage is where both partners do it with each other’s consent.

That's not the case here with Akki Twinkle, right? The wives tolerate it for fame and money. So its cheating. That's not opinion, its objectively a fact.

Yeah, well you can only marry one at a time lol.

Anyways we're going way off topic here. I agree that if a partner is kept in the dark, it's cheating but my interpretation of what Twinkle said was that Akshay has an occasional pass and she's ok with it, as long as it's not a full fledged emotional affair. I don't see any victim here, if both partners have together decided the boundaries of their relationship.

On the other hand, if Akshay commits adultery without Twinkle knowing and she let's it pass, she's most definitely a doormat.

Both are same in my eyes. Homewreckers & cheaters too. They are hand in hand together

u r a misogynist then. Both are at fault but definitely cheater husband is more at fault after all it's his own marriage he has the duty to be loyal enough to save the marriage. Matlab tum apne husband se zyada dusri aurat se umeed laga rahi ho ki vo tumhari shadi bachaye. If the husband himself is not loyal, then what's the point of marriage? There was a dialogue of kaashi in bajirao Mastani "paraye logo se kya shikayat karni ghaav toh apno ke zyada chubte hain" that's the apt dialogue for ema. N if u r a man, tab toh tum khudko bachane ke liye ladkiyo ko blame kar rahe ho bas. U have that mindset "hum mard toh tharki hote hai fisal jate hai" ye bahanna nai chalta ab. All the husbands are not cheaters

I am neither misogynist nor a man. don't be so judgmental.
