From what i have seen Neetu tends to get triggered a lot. The witches always seemed to be there to trigger most of her reactions to Mannat. Even if Ronnie said something to her before she processed it in her mind someone would already be whispering some more venom. In this case it seems in that moment whatever Mannat did for her with that necklace won her over and she managed to perform the mother in law's shagun that was necessary. I'm not sure of it's lasting effect. Mannat just managed to help Neetu against someone she herself is afraid of. Probably made her think Mannat has let go of that drugging issue which is another sore point of theirs that's unresolved.

Do Mothers in law in itv stay nice for long? I have only ever seen them nice for a short space of time and they revert back to their old characters They always seem selfish in their approach.

@RD you’re are right, writers made Neetu utterly foul mouthed and physically abusive towards Mannat….loved Mannat getting using opportunity to make the point to Vik in the fake fight that it doesn’t absolve her past actions.

Completely agree Shurti and Mannat deserve a verbal apology directly from Neetu, and in front of Vik…. that would be a more convincing ww than just side glances and smiles without genuine depth of regretting her past actions.... And we’ve had Ronnie voice that Vik’s happiness and future lies with Mannat, this voicing from Neetu would make sense but hopefully you’re are right @Betty the ww isn’t complete yet.

@Betty you’re spot on in Neetu’s triggering and others’ manipulation of that.
But surely we won’t get U-turn vileness 😩….in which case more than Neetu, I’ll be most angry at Vik if he tolerates it!

Don't think Mannat has thought this through... she watched the clip... I dont think in its entirety and Vik immediately came behind her. Deleting it was an instantaneous decision.

I feel it is just Mannat buying time to break the news to Vik softly like she told DK.

Remember we discussed this when Vishakha was introduced and Neetu hallucinated her. Neetu immediately recognized her which is odd for someone she hit 25 years ago.

I feel Vish might have been in touch with Neetu and the terrace scene will have some connection

With Mannu’s hardships and birth truths she is much more resilient and has learnt (on the whole) to process thoughts then come to a plan of action instead of reacting emotionally headfirst. But she knows Vik is the opposite, wears his emotions on his sleeve, is highly reactive, loves RoTu immensely but their sheltering has made Vik weaker in resilience. He might be principled but hasn’t had tests of choosing wrong for the bigger right yet…

Now it’s a race against time with so many players on how to soften the blow for Vik. And Mannu will try to find out the whole picture in the meantime!

It was such a huge huge huge shock for Mannat and she doesn't even know how to react or process the information she is made aware off and her utmost priority being Vikrant's heartbreak and how he is going to deal with the worst truth of his life💔 . Imagine she doesn't even know Vish sold Vikrant yet 😔

Betty/Moor yes agree for sure there’s been more incidents; and interactions between VK and Neetu following Aman initially coming to RoTu……and together with Mannu, we as the audience may see-saw between Neetu and VK as they unravel the whole backstory……

Creators have spun a very interesting time bomb set against the wedding finale.

And about the missing romance after Shaadi and SR, here's my thoughts.

I feel they know they will get carried away if they get touchy, now more so since they are married and they would like to keep the marriage and SR a secret from the family for all the know reasons and drama they will create.

The scene you mentioned about the kaala teeka and Vikrant feeling her back , like you pointed both felt the attraction and they had to jerk themselves out. Even in the scene after Neetu accepted Mannat (I still don't accept this WW , someone help me here 😭) , they were trying hard not to touch each other with Vikrant and Mannat hugging themselves so they don't go with the flow. We have seen how they were even before they were dating, so I am not surprised they are conscious and acting weird around each other.

Ayesha's Holi outfit, I am still hoping it will show up in some FB of Vikrant

Vikku in particular has been unconstrained and often spontaneous in touching Mannu, eg smoothing her hair even as far back as mango break on their day trip ….so the sudden coolness is noticeable given this hot blooded couple have secretly married (SR still debatable, but very intimate nonetheless).

I think intentional too;

1) unconsciously by ManVik for the 🔥 reasons as you’ve beautifully explained but would still expect a reflexive hand hold, hand on her back, round her shoulders to mark she’s his now and they have every right to…

2) the directive team consciously starving us touchy-feeliness to lead us to the mu in wake of Aman truth. Mannu will be demonstrative then, with the secret marriage in place and social wedding in disarray, it may be her way (and with haq) to get through to him? So the ‘intimacy after conflict’ impact in the way Moor explained earlier.

seems weak in the face of the emotions due to rain down on him towards RoTu, VK/DK truth but deceit too, dead bio father…………but Vik being angry at Mannat too for withholding when she knew along with others (his insistence she mustn’t in the future). Or one of others may twist that Mannat wanted to withhold as she wanted Vik’s wealth, loosing his bharosa on her again 😱 ? IF this is the case it will be temporary, he’s faced far worse with her and resolved very quickly……
