She tried.. .but her acting is mediocre at best.

Her acting and dancing skills cannot be compared to her mother Late Sridevi, its like comparing Mr. Amitabh to Abhishek.

Another thing is she is trying to repeat herself in every nothing new in her character or kind of movies. She seriously need to try something new, doesn't matter if it works or not. I remember how Tabu became top actress with Chadani Bar, Maachis, Hututu, Virasat, etc after doing so many crappy commercial movies. Janhvi Kapoor too needs to do the same if she wants to survive.
