I am born Muslim who has be taught the religion in classes plus I was very much interested in other religions as well. In fact torah (Jews holy book) and bible were also believed to be books of the previous prophet in our religion. Even among Muslim there r different Divisions meaning different rules. Interpreting something based on no knowledge of the language and half baked truth is the problem. After what I have said and given explanation about things instead of even saying yeah there could be good and bad in everything you decide to focus on what ur belief is of the religion. If Muslims were so powerful do u think Palestine wud exist. Have u heard of Israel bombing Doha recently. I guess u have not the Middle East is run largely by USA who in turn is run by Israel. If I go around saying Jews are Monster who have no human feelings how wud that sound. I know for a fact that there r people who seem to see less and have more hatred in their heart to be preconceived notions. One of my cousins live in Delhi. She has a western name apparently lot of people didn’t know she was a Muslim because according to them all Muslims wear burka and have nose pins. She wears shawl and doesn’t look the typical Muslim that they know of. That’s how ignorant people r of a religion. I don’t want to argue further with you just because I think it’s a waste of time. Plus if ur looking at Muslims punishing people let me tell u as a Muslim how many times people have thrown comments on me or my religion. When I am born Indian why should I be differentiated based on my religion. I wouldn’t say this has been going on for ages the vocal change has happened some time back. Maybe it was in peoples heart they just thought of expressing it now.i don’t want to make assumptions. I am sure every religion faces different issue at different places.
punishment for apostasy is death in islam. looks like you are either ignorant or recently converted.
