Basically if we put in simple terms they are mannerless people..money cant buy manners..it goes for both father in law and son in law

unless I’m mistaken the minister he’s talking about is Sharad Pawar.

Shameless, not just Afridi, but the rest of them too, including Wasim Akram for laughing. Squeezing an elderly person’s hand or anyone’s for that matter is nothing to be proud about. Shows how low they can go.

The same Wasim Akram’s wife’s air ambulance had to be diverted to Chennai because she was in a critical condition and she was rushed to Apollo hospital within minutes.
Afridi’s brother is also like him. some, always ready to please, Bollywood celebrities took really good care of him when he visited India during the World Cup and once he returned home he gave interviews of how badly he was treated in India. On second thought why should we blame him, the fault lies in us, we never learn.

imo, it's "the ghost in the machine" (an attempt to explain human violence by Arthur Koestler)...humans are a 'failed' evolution where a certain bridge between the both half of the brain don't function - far too often.

People here are as hellbent on fingerpointing as most people are in general.

I prefer to concentrate on what is positive: India won the Asia Cup 2025!!! YEAH smiley40

But yeah, sports and politics shouldn't be used as means for one another..

Like you said any form of art is inherently political, @bold why?? When it is such a large platform, when it has the power to convey your message then why ?? Pakistani players, from both men and women team were doing 6-0, gesture so why should not we reply to their actions on the same ground??

Politics and Art/sports should be kept different is a useless and propagandist statement, those who can do this, always use this as a mean to market their agendas and then they conveniently give this lecture to avoid the spotlight on the issues which makes them uncomfortable.

When Ukraine and Palestine issue is highlighted in sports then the world applauds it but when it is used in India's favour then the world suddenly starts giving the moral lectures.

I believe we should use any means to safeguard our interests, be it sports, politics or cinemas.

Bro, any other country in the world can do anything they want but all the moral lectures are reserved for India onlysmiley8

When Indians measures their worth on western standards then nothing we do will appease them, only western validations willsmiley29

It's really, really unfortunate that immature people like this man gets the possibility/power to do important things that demand maturity and wisdom... and he isn't the only one when looking at the 'big picture'... (narrow-mind and ego-satisfaction seem to rule the world more & more - a counter reaction to the globalisation through social media???)
