Thank you for the tag..yes seems people back then handled this issue better but now people are not the same and times are not the same..being too good will end up making us a pushover..particularly when we have won fair and square all 6 times yet those people continue to manipulate the world with their stupid antics..

They waged a false narrative war, fund terrorism, entering into other country and killing in the name of religion, trying various means to destablize our country ..times have changed and cannot be viewed by same lens anymore..

Only thing sky did wrong was he shook hands beforehand and took stand only after backlash..this animosity must have been maintained/announced to countrymen from the beginning..sky should have foreseen all this and announced firmly that except for game there wont be any other engagement..it was sick of bcci to allow him shakehands at first and make him change stance after backlash..

Still the victory tasted sweeter than t20 wc to me !! All young guns won it for us !!

Bcoz ICC makes money by fining Indian players only. However, it is wrong on ICC part to fine SKY for his statements which were cler indication of no hatred for anyone but standing by his nation n army. Inspite of all this SKY announced the money to pahlgam victims n Army again, that is s straightforward slap to ICC too.

ICC's verdict has been appealed by India and hopefully they will change their verdict, SKY's statements were not wrong but he shouldnt have been the one to be labelled as the first one to bring in political comment and found guilty on top of that.

Dedicating his winings to phalgam victims and army was slap to ICC agreed!

Alas what’s done is done, BCCI entirely at fault they event tweeted abt match dedicated to phalgam and army! I hope we don’t lose SKY amidst this if taken to ICC he already has been found guilty with 30% fine. For BCCI it’s only another player and they would proceed with someone else in worst case scenario with SKY( hopefully not).

political tensions happen all the time in the world but sports should have its own boundaries not to include political differences in games. Countries like Nepal China USA all are progressing towards Cricket and in this India shouldn’t show political viewpoints in aftermath of cricket match we would lose majorly in terms of code of conduct to be followed by ICC.

SKY only dedicated it to Pehelgam victims and appreciated the army. He didn't even mention Pakistan in it. Agha actually used the word that he is dedicating to victims from operation Sindoor by India. How was it that SKY started?

Didn't Rizwan dedicate his century to Palestine victims?

Politics is always a part of sports. South Africa wasn't allowed to participate owing to the apartheid laws in their country.

Also when politics can be there in business why not in sports?

Thing is India shouldn't have participated in the series in the first place. Unfortunately BCCI and our government sought money and went into it,
