I think Karan Johar asked Ranbir and Alia to act as a couple to do PR for Brahmastra.

Esp during the pandemic , Karan had put a story that Alia has moved n with Ranbir etc. karan wanted ppl to maintain interest in the delayed release of the movie. Ayan was also hanging out with them often or staying there I guess.

Later Alia also liked the idea in real and wanted to be a Kapoor Bahu.

There was a lot going on behind the scenes...and not everything was 'arranged' by Karan...

he should stop with that narrative or people will think he is pedophile.
