It was to make us forget about Abhimanyu, create a look for Rishabh which was veryyyy different from his previous character so that comparisons do not keep happening.

Also, it added to the rawness of what Rishabh 1.0 was.

Rishabh 1.0 was supposed to have rough hair, so that he looks like someone who is living off the street.

HC has never done a role before who is rich but is pretending to be poor, he has always been rich from the get go.😂😂😂 So to get that difference. Also, he had said somewhere that he wanted his fans to not see Abhimanyu when he comes back on screen, and that's what happened. With the look Rishabh's seperate identity was created.

serious response: Rishab was supposed to be this actor, carefree, bindaas type person. So his hair was a reflection of that personna to fool Bhagya so that she won't have any doubt behind his approach. She was supposed to think he is harmless because he has long hair.
