Kajol will always be seen as SRK's screen partner on a global scale. DDLJ/KKHH/K3G, etc. Rani is just the third wheel in the love triangle and always loses to the superior SRK/Kajol jodi. I have not seen the movie but I am sure Kajol's performance was brilliant. Did you forget Rani's last movie where she hammed it up in Mrs Chatterjee? I had second-hand embarrassment watching even on a screen from her overacting. My audience partners were in hysterics everytime she caused a public scene with her cringy line readings.

Thank you for mentioning the Srk Kajol pairing . Yes that’s all she’s . Thankfully we Rani fans and Rani herself don’t rely on another actor to shine . She makes other actors look good and Rani’s filmography is filled with the portrayal of nuanced , difficult and challenging parts which your Kajol can’t imagine of playing in this lifetime .

Btw so much attitude for highlighting srk Kajol pairing but alas ! Who’s doing the next srk film again ? Your poor Kajol wasn’t even considered . And Rani might have played a side character in KKHH being her initial set of films as a newcomer but she milked that opportunity and ruled the 2000’s. Says a lot about a side character can matter . But you guys are living in the past and can only look at Kajol from the lens of the 90’s movies she has done. Fact is her last successful movie was in 2005 .

What is funny is that the critics of Rani , whether it’s the fan of any rival actress have nothing to say about her performances and her glorious filmography. So they try and attack her personal life with no proof or evidence whatsoever :)

Watching this movie while doing chores

Kajol is right camera loves ibrahim he looks stunning onscreen much better than his father . He looks royal

but acting especially the dialogues a lot like a LOT needs to be done .

Kajol is ageing GRACEFULLY and melodrama is her genre so she is acing it one again . How beautiful she looks while 😢 Camera loves you too kajol ❤️

Prithviraj and the little kid are doing the best job as actors

Baaki tu story is very predictable so far

Rani's most famous movie is KKHH. Her most famous movie is being a side character whose only plot purpose is to die and write letters from the grave. A film role that a dozen actresses rejected because they refused to play second fiddle like she did. She ruled the 2000s because Kajol retired after marriage. All of her hit films were ones that Kajol would have done otherwise. KANK, which you love to bring up so much, is the perfect example as Karan admits that Kajol was his first choice for the movie. He wanted SRK, Kajol, Ajay, and Aishwarya. Kajol rightfully rejected that lousy film and Rani's role was just crying glycerin tears in every scene and cheating poor Abhishek onscreen as well as offscreen.

Lol, you conveniently ignored that Kajol had a hit with MNIK. Karan picked her, NOT Rani. And Tanhaji was a blockbuster. Even Dilwale grossed more than any of Rani's floppies. Name one role Rani has in an Aamir film that's as good as Kajol's role in Fanaa with him. Aamir values her so little that he gives Rani flowerpot roles while letting Kareena steal the entire movie away from Rani. Nobody thinks of Talaash as Rani's movie. That's Bebo's film all the way. You are clearly just against anyone who you know has higher status with audiences like Kajol and Bebo.

I have seen several ppl loving Rani’s understated portrayal of a grieving mother unlike kareena who had a more glamorous role . Such were their characters . What ridiculous point you want to make here lol . Get off my feed lmao. This is my last post . I don’t fight with Kajol, Ash or Preity fans anymore . They are not of Rani’s stature. You can tell who is a better person and who is the mercenary.

Back to Kajol, even if you think the film is rubbish, note that Karan cast her. NOT Rani. Even though his relationship with Kajol is not as close anymore and he pallys up to Rani because of her husband and only for that reason now. But when coming to cast in his films, it's Kajol he still thinks of first. Not Rani.

Yes anything great Rani has done has some glitch and Kajol is perfect . Lmao why did I waste my time
