I feel similar to your plot. Rishab’s father was a cook as rishab also seems to be cook and owner of a hotel.

It's similar to chand jalne laga where may be shreyas stole things and people blamed rishab and his family and humiliated them.

scenario 2: his sister was r*ped or cheated by bhagya's brother ..shreyas seems lousy and i wouldn't put it past karthik ..maybe he ditched her under parent pressure and married sowmya ... girl got pregnant ..took her life or whatever ..and this is revenge!! ..punjabi couple at the hotel could be the parents!

tho based on his burning bhagya's picture - i'm thinking scenario 1 is more likely!

Scenario 1 was in EK old show Meri aashiqui Tumse hi and second scenario I read in wattpad long ago , in that his sister was r***** and got pregnant from fl brother but parents wanted to save their son so they married off the daughter forcibly to ml ..... But you know what I think before show started News was there aparna dixit will be playing bhagya boss and she will be rishabh ex , maybe something around that too can happen.

okay!!haven't seen those shows! ..if bhagya's boss is rishab's ex - what possibly could be the reason for his revenge with bhagya :)

good point! possibly he was a cook at the iyers ..only wondering if they'd hire a punjabi cook but maybe he's a very versatile cook and can cook everything - after all rishab did make vada and upma :)

then after getting thrown out they worked hard - father and sons and became chefs and opened restaurants ..so saffron wok is his restaurant! ..maybe mother paid the price with her life ..

also rishab said something today on the lines of thanking nikhil for ditching bhagya because only after that she could truly discover herself ..likewise after the iyers threw them out - they made it big in the restaurant industry but suffered a loss and perhpas rishab's heart break.

also rishab knew about bhagya's mom's food allergy ..all the more reason to think he was part of that household ..and also like you say cook will fit in with knowing food allergies :)

I'm liking this theory!!! you are right - he does have a soft spot for amma!! right now this seems like the most likely situation.

and definitely his cooking prowess has to be from being a professional cook ..otherwise it did seem a bit much!
