Any background info on the aneet padda? is she will connected or at least from a wealthy family? Nothing against her but it is so hard to get into mainstream films without connection.
Finally bought into the hype and watched it... I cried in it so i think despite all my following criticisms the movie touched me and that is it's biggest reason for success - its affecting people..Both of them acted well..

Launde lapadey have bought into the hype. There is no stopping the movie now.

Both of them acted well.. Aneet more than ahaan which is surprising bec aneet has almost emotionless style of acting but she still manages to wring you out... Ahaan i can't help but compare with ARK bec of aashique and i think ark was both effortlessly cool and tragic.. Ahaan felt like he was trying to hard to be something he wasn't.. Though there were some scenes where his expressions were brilliant..... So overall wonderful effort by both newcomers
More than the actors i think the writing/direction was inadequate.. Like the falling in love phase was so short and abrupt.. If you are going to make a movie on once in a lifetime love atleast write the love part well.. 2 minute noodles ki tarah nahin likhna tha... Music was also average.. I honestly don't think I'll listen to the songs after a week..
I know everyone says that Mohit suri is the reason for this success but i think he has made a very mediocre movie that is saved by the two actors and their chemistry
Love is the purest emotion there is, and audience connected to it because they've experienced it at some point in life. I don't think anyone is saying Mohit suri is the reason for its success, the credit goes to the leads PERIOD. Make a the same movie with a different cast, and it won't even be half of the success it is right now. Audiences can sniff out fakeness from a mile away, and this was the most honest acting and storytelling I've seen in a long time.

Did you watch that viral reel where a guy lifts his gf in excitement and twirls her in front of the screen? Cringe but cute.

They say one rotten apple can spoil the lot, but Saiyaara proved the opposite. In an industry saturated with remakes, safe bets, and that...

this is kind of a big deal for a movie with newcomers and no big names.
